It will always turn heads when social norms are broken, but sure, why not? Dress like a woman, go naked, wear a meat bikini, whatever. Of course, people have every right to react to it how they see fit, so long as it isn't violent or hateful.
I'm surprised this is such a big topic. Seems self-evident.
Dude in my town went streaking during a football game. They arrested him and got him labeled as a sex offender at age 18. He's got nothing to look forward to now.
Don't be so open-minded that your brains fall out. Even if you think some restrictions are wrong, baseless, or otherwise frivolous, the fact is that they are still restrictions and you will bring the bad kind of attention to yourself by breaking them.
And guys, if you wanna wear a skirt just dress like a Scotsman and call it a kilt.

Going naked in public is actually against the law, at least here, it's not just a social norm.

This sounds terribly wrong to me, especially about things you can't choose, like sexual orientation. If everyone went on pretending to be like "the norm", how can the world ever change?
On the other hand, I don't agree with those who say it's the obligation of every minority member to "fight for the cause". Everyone should be allowed to make their own decisions, whether it's to break the rules or yield to them.
