I was so overwhelmed by the structure of even the first night's mission that I tread cautiously.
I felt from your designs that I must save every time I found a shadow to feel safe to save my progress.
It is missions such as yours that I sometimes find myself within while I dream at night, and I otherwise toss and turn trying to figure the riddles that Garrett most solve.
I wish it was possible for you to play your own mission without the knowledge that you authored it, to understand what it is like to experience the other side of your work.
Well, I'd like it too. :) I managed to have a little part of that experience with Rowena's Curse. This campaign was so large, and it took so much time to built it that I'm afraid that I can remember having an emotional involvement only with Night Three, which was the last I built, and maybe a few bits of Night One and Two.
I can only be happy that my missions managed to inspire such strong emotions. :)
Sorry, I'm not able to express myself any better. Thanks again. :)

I say, thats when you know, you're addicted to a game, when you dream about it. ;)
The most wondrous thing that the internet provided my soul was that indeed there were peers, and others who have provided such unexpected delights to humble my local esteem.
I place FM authors on a pedestal far beyond themselves to know how much they are appreciated.
BrokenArts, I'm neither ashamed nor proud of myself nor anything in this world, so please cut me slack and join in me in the Thief alternate worlds; it is akin to the next lives we are in for. Let's be fellow Taffers, what do think?

I have done my best to sort out the questions about Night 2 and Night 3 and move them to the appropriate threads that have been started for questions regarding them. Please use this thread only for general comments as well as questions about Night One. There are links to the threads for the other nights at the end of the first post in this thread as well as in other posts partway through .
I am so glad you did that. It had to be done and it must have been no small task. :thumb: Thankyou !

Lady Rowena, apart from my respect for your craftmenship to make all of us this WONDERFULL FM: I noticed a lot of great paintings in Mission "Night Two".
I recognized some of them, but mostly the one of William Bouguereau "Birth of Venus!".
I'm an "ANGELGIRL" as you probably know. I have a lot of paitings and details of paitings (from postcards a.s.o.) hanging on my livingroom wall ... a lot of them from Bouguereau ... as he's the BEST Cherub painter since all times ...!
Apart from that: I just want to say to you and all Taffers, this FM is the best Christmas gift I got this year!!! :thumb: :thumb:

It's very late for me, but I sense some tension here .... DO I have to remove my reply to another thread of post?

Nope, shouldn't have to Gloria. Carry on I say. :)
Lady Rowena on 28/12/2007 at 03:26
I don't think so, Gloria. Since your comment is not related to a particular question, I think that it can be considered "generic". Therefore this is the right place. :)
Thanks for the compliments! :D

Leave me alone, I said my piece, got through to Lady Rowana herself, and now I can die.
