Welcome to the forum Greyscale, hope you stick around, and post more often. :)

If this is the standard all FM makers have to aspire to, they will have a big job. This is THE most brilliantly conceived and interesting,.. yeah fun,.. absorbing, fascinating, beautiful FM I have played in a long long while. Notice I didn't say "WOW" ...er, I guess I just did.:sly:
15 pages of comments in a few days. Unbelievable. Remarkable.
Only today I had to look for a hint for one more person to cure, then I am finished with day 1. So far I have collected $2550. I believe it was BrokenArts that said "take it slow; like sipping fine wine", or words to that effect. That is the way I played it, and it all unfolded with exploration, reading everything, trying everything, and not giving up. Sorry, I did give up when I couldn't find anyone else to cure. Had to peek.
Congratulations Lady Rowena!!!!

Woo hoo. That was a fabulous mission. Great work, Rowena. :D At 4 hours per mission, that definitely kept me out of trouble for awhile. lol So much to see and do.
I even had fun luring the bot out and chasing around town with it. Although it wasn't as fun as the haunts that run around killing anything that move. For some reason it had unerring ability to track me down wherever I went and I eventually had to reload and move on without letting it out.
The only 'problem' I had meeting the objectives was Night 1, I could not find the last inflicted. Read the clues here, found out WHO I was missing and still couldn't find him. Found his place on Night 2. Don't think I was looking far enough the first night. On the good side, this means replay! :D
Night 3 I missed two optional objectives, but that was an oops. I got everything but the loot and diamonds, then went through the end part of the game before I clued in and realized it was the end. I could reload a save, though. I was playing on expert the whole way through.
I liked the puzzle to free the cat. And I can say I am GLAD we could free the cat because its meowing demanded it be freed. lol Would have frustrated me to no end if it had been mewing like that, then it was just a sound effect.
Pity it was dead, though. :(
The only big question I have is one thing I found on Night 1 and never figured out what to do with.
Night one, you get into an apartment, past a pagan with a caged spider, through a little hole in the wall and you get into a nursery. The readable says the daughter has gone missing (although the sounds suggest a ghost?) and I expected to do something about that. But I did not find *anything* pertaining to it, and Night 2 the place is sealed off.
Was this actually something to do, or just something to find that you could not actually influence?

I'm having one last major problem.
The game ends..got-cha!
Awasme mission pack Lady R...I got stuck mantling and creeping against walls (mostly in 3) a few times but other than that it was perfect. Ending seemed a bit easy but better tham than me
The spiders
.
Thankyou :thumb:
who do you think the black sister was.......
BrokenArts on 30/12/2007 at 01:58
The ending would of seemed like a total biatch if you would of decided to fight her yourself. LOL. I only read about using the rope arrow, that was it. The rest I figured out. I saw those
spiders
ready and waiting to go, I got the biggest kick out of watching them run out! That was utterly cool.

*smacks her forehead* Oy, I totally missed that one. Did not even cross my radar. I did note that
the black sister was a child
but I did not connect it at all with that little side-discovery.
Thanks. I feel better now that I know I did not miss a fun little quest. :)
I really liked the ending too, BrokenArts. I was scared I was going to fight her (like we did in Rowena's Curse), and I was really happy to find out we didn't. lol I did have to repeat the end about six times - but that was my own dumb fault.
I did it with all three cages of spiders first and had too many left over after she was dead to go get the heart. So I tried 1 cage, then 2 but they never came out after her. So I tried a fourth time with all 3 cages again and they still didn't show up. I discovered on the fifth try I had forgotten to open the gate so they could get through. Oops? Botched my fifth try trying to get back on the beam - and had to try one more time. This time it worked. One cage did not quite do it, two cages left me with three spiders which I could easily dispatch from above. It was great. :D
Oh hell I let them all out! Whoohooo!! Of course, the last few were on my tail for a bit. Broke out the sword, took no damage from them.

Hi. just noticed this thread. Holy crap, but this mission has buzz.
I am dling now.
I am very excited :thumb: (...5%)

I did it the sneaky way. I opened all three. I waited until they had all left the cage area THEN CLOSED THE GRATE AGAIN.
Then I liesurely searched the area for goodies.
Then I went up and watched the mayhem. When the spiders started drifting toward the way out, I used a noisearrow and sucked them all to that doorway.
Got the heart, loped across to the Lava pit doorway and did the deed.
When I came back there were only one or two spiders in the area. It was easy to run out the exit to the portal, which I did.
The hardest part for me was remembering the prophecy. "Only her creatures..." :)
