OK, finally through with a big push unfortunately so I'll never know if I'd have figured it out. So, those big rivetted plates are not metal but wood? Guess I've spent too long looking at Dark Mod textures. :) Semi-ghosting, had to leave rope because only seconds to hide and used one water arrow. Don't think you could ghost that bit without rehearsing with prior knowledge or dumb luck. I think the occasional reluctant discreet use of weapons is acceptable and more atmospherically potent. :cheeky:
Just for the record I'm curious about the following but no answers please:player in cell but can't find his cashbox key nor anywhere near his monkey - but what is that strange frobbable round plate in the floor of the cage?

Were you playing on expert? Maybe you killed them by dropping them from that height!
Actually I was playing on normal setting and did not drop him. I climbed down and put him on the floor. Then after opening the chest and getting the holy water, the mission would end saying I failed that objective.

Oh, I had two projects for a future mission in mind: another city mission and....another type. I was a little undecided between them, but after this statement....I think that I will start building the other type. :cheeky:
I wouldn't make that decision on my account, the chances of me even starting a city mission are pretty slim - especially since I'm supposed to be finishing the remake of
The Temple of the Tides, which probably counts as an 'other type'. :D

What, people, you don't think 4 years of working on this mission pack for you guys has earned her a vacation from DromEd?? If I spent 4 years working on a mission pack I'd drink so much to celebrate that my liver would be dead by morning. Or I'd be dead. Either way.
Considering that you're the only person I know who thanked
a whiskey in her FM's credits, I think your liver would probably have died
during those four years. ;)

I am only 3hrs into it but am having an amazing time. I'm in the crypt now and gotten goosebumps more than once.
Excellent mission Rowena.

"thanked a whiskey"? Lol, this explains a lot about her odd visions during th betatest of T7S. :D
BTW, I was just kidding, I had already taken that decision. Another city mission is too annoying. :)

Then the only explanation is that in that very moment an innocent was being killed.
Maybe Jeremy the baker? He insisted to flee toward the porticullis where the plagued guard was. ;)
I know it's somewhat inferred that you have only 1 lockpick through Night One, but could someone confirm this. I've scanned the first few pages of this thread but saw no reference to it and stopped when topics started relating to areas I haven't been to yet.
The reason I'm asking is because I've come across semi-pickable doors (ie) doors requiring a second lockpick, and I'm at a point now where I feel I need to backtrack and complete sections of the town before progressing.
I'm pretty sure of some secrets I'm missing like...
the wine cellar with the cat meowing behind a wall (I know it has something to do with placing a missing piece of the steering wheel on the wall)
and....
an area where a dog is barking perhaps also concealing a secret.
btw, if those points represent secret locations, that's an excellent way of hinting to us.
Sorry if these questions have already been asked.

You definitely get the 2nd pick on the 2nd nite. Yes, some of the doors only pick halfway, you need that 2nd pick. You will be able to finish the job of picking those doors on night two.
So, the areas you are in now, you won't be able to access on night two. She had to split up the mission, too big, so, in a sense, it makes the town seem somewhat new on night two, with being able to get into those areas you couldn't fully pick, have fun!

From the readme:

LockpicksOn Night One you will have only one lockpick, so don't go crazy searching for the other one. Some of the locks can only be picked half-way open on Night One. You will be able to finish opening them on Night Two.

About the wine cellar: you will have the answer in Night Two.
About the barking dog: there is no secret at all, you will not have access to that area, it's there just for show. :)
