At the Bell Tower
on the level that contains the golden hammer, there is an alternative exit to the rooftops. Is this supposed to be accessable? I can't squeeze through, even using the broken ladder as a jump spot.
Lady Rowena on 2/1/2008 at 18:51
Oooops, that was supposed to be the way in. I don't think that it's possible to go out from there. :)

??
You mean that was the way I was supposed to enter? How do you get to that side of the rooftop? I got to the top of the bell tower
using rope arrows after I entered the cathedral via the other roof hatch.
Maybe I didn't understand well. Didn't you entered the cathedral the very first time
from the attic in the sacristy? (where the dead priest was)Then you (the player) were supposed to
shot a rope arrow to one of the beams in the cathedral, not inside the bell tower. From there there is a hole in the roof to enter the bell tower.
From wht you said you shoot the rope arrow inside the bell tower instead, right?
Hey Lady Rowena !
Really enjoying this one. Just finished night 1 after 2h30m !
One slight problem - I could not complete, and had to ctl+alt+shift+end.
There weren't enough plague victims left to heal - they all been killed by guards except
clock maker, experiment lady and sewerage 1 worker
.
Great atmosphere and storyline though.
Off to start night 2 now.......:D

You may have missed a victim; I believe there are 7 of them. I think Lady Rowena put in a hidden objective that fails the mission if too many victims die, specifically to stop this from happening, so odds are someone was just hiding from you.
Can you list which victims who were killed? Maybe we can figure out who you missed. :)
Actually . . . you had to have missed the man in the apartment above Basso's place. There's no way anyone could've gotten up there and killed him, because you have to climb to get there. If you have a save handy, maybe you can look for him. :)

Oh yes...
You are right NightTerror. I missed the guy
above Basso
.
The ones killed were
guy by fire near start, guard at oldgate and guy near waterside
Thanks!:o

Yes he went in the way you designed it. But then he ignored the beams and did the same as I did during testing.
He fired up into the belltower and managed to get up with rope arrows. If you hit the right spot, you can do that.
So once in there he saw the hatch and tried to get out that way.
He never was in the ceiling of the cathedral area on the beams or the mouldings. He never saw, or used the hole in the roof that gets you to the hatch from the outside.
So, once inside, in the tower by using his rope arrows he then saw the hatch to the roof and tried to exit that way. :)
