Fidcal's log : Day 10 : gametime 7:30 + 6:15. New objectives. Not completed ANY of the ones I'd already got yet! This is a new personal record, nearly 14 hours and no objectives checked. But it feels like I have achieved quit a bit. Story fascinating and progressing. Crypt tension is electric. Haha. :joke: Somethings' coming... gotta go. Will try to get a message out tomorrow if I can...

Good work. This mission pack really has a tremendous amount of "hey!, what's over there?" in it.
I spent about 12 hours on N1 alone. And I still missed a bunch. Starting over again this afternoon. The whole game, that is.

I have been to Basso's, the police station, Dr. Knox's, the Cathedral, the crypt, and the library and I'm back on the streets again and completely stuck on where to go. Every door it seems needs two lockpicks to open.
1. How do I find a cure for the plague?
2. How do I neutralize the power of the sister?
3. Where is the sister's stone key?
please give me specific instructions and hide them with the spoiler thing. I'm really stuck on what to do next.
thanks

First you don't get a second lockpick until night 2.
Second Go back to Dr. Knox and you should find the answers to most of your questions.
Third go back to Malthus' shop and you will find more answers.
Fourth always let the intros play through. Although this should be number one.
Fifth go back to the "sister's" and search.
Sixth play the damn game instead of trying to BEAT it.
You have missed half the areas you should have inspected, missed searching the areas you were in, and probably have not read all the material you found, and have yet to find more.

You got the Sewer 2 key. At least you should, from the dead guard near the lantern. Did you use it to go in Sewer Station 2?

wow, I just got majorly bitched out by theBlackman. No need for such rude comments. I went back and read everything and I finally finished night one. Looks like I'm on my own with night two if it means coming here and getting rude responses to questions.

Glad you made it through. :thumb:
And have fun with N2 and ignore me I'm an old pain in the butt.
You've redeemed yourself by making it through, it's the small "How do I's" that nag me. The big ones always get a milder response, and sometimes even the correct answer.
This is one great mission, come back anytime. I don't always bite.

I don't want to mention here in front of all you people, how long i tried to go
up to the bell tower in the way it was designed;
shouldn't I do this in the normal way -rope arrow in beam-climb up rope (my head is above the beam) then simultaneously press the keys for "jump" and "forward" while looking up? or looking a little bit to the side? -or straight forward?- or "jump" a split sec. after "forward"? -or the other way round?
Thanks for an answer

flupp : the difficulties of rope-arrowing up the bell-tower have been discussed several times in this thread. It can be done, but you can also use the beams in the main part (church?) of the cathedral & explore from there.
Good luck & keep going :)
BrokenArts on 6/1/2008 at 15:16
fupp, its basically if you are lucky enough to hit a spot to get up through the belltower that way. Don't bother with it. That was very deceiving.
The front of the altar, look up, shoot a rope arrow into the beam, you can go from there.
These threads get so big to try and find answers.

Fidcal's Log : Day 11 gamesave time 8:11 + 7:00. Really thought I was trapped in the crypt but had overlooked something. Phew! What a relief - that was tough on expert, tension most everywhere. Found some holy seeds but don't know yet what they're for. Hopefully will find it in Night 2. Still no current objectives completed but I might have done a future one the wrong way round.
