diary being a shop to buy milkproducts... not a book :cheeky:
TheNightTerror on 11/1/2008 at 23:10
Last time I checked it was spelled dairy. ;)
nightshifter on 11/1/2008 at 23:15
I allready thought that being not native-speaking I shouldn't be making such remarks..
and now I understand why I got so confused all the time, never did notice the diff. in spelling... :o :cheeky:

I notice that Lady Rowena never posted about having edited the first post with a link to a v2 of this campaign.

Thanks BrokenArts and nightshifter, I will give that a try. ;) I totally understand the language thing, used to get that wrong myself.

Fidcal's Log : Day 17. gamesave time : 13:40 + 9:30-ish. Finally figured out how to get in Sewer Station 1. I boosted my gamma and searched the canal nearby and the buildings nearby. Then I went back round south of the police station as I recalled a kind of platform and possibly a door that I couldn't reach. With the gamma still accidentally left high now I could see a ladder to the roof! Back round the other side of the police station and it was obvious how to climb up. I also recalled Basso's infected neighbour. I'd been in there twice, robbed him twice, but for some reason must have had to do quickloads. At that time I didn't know how to heal so I'd forgotten him. He was the last infected for me to complete the optional objective. But needed more loot. Found it in the printer's whose outer door is so brightly lit and patrollled I wrongly assumed it was not enterable and probably never checked it before - mainly because I had the cathedral on my mind at that time. Found some more odds and ends of loot - got around 2400 odd out of the total 2999. So I can finish by going back to Basso's. I suspect some of the remaining loot is in Mrs. Dowsons. There is a promising route on the cathedral side but I can't quite climb up. And this missions seems stripped of every moveable crate or anything I can stand on. Grrr! Tried standing on my scouting orbs which don't work for me anyway but no luck and alerted that hammer. Must be a silent order as he snook up on me the blaggard! Found one secret with a bit of loose change. I might continue scavenging tomorrow or I might call it a day and move on to the next night.

I just finished Night One; with 2704 of 2999 loot and 3 of 5 secrets. I am slow; needing 5 hours and 37 minutes to accomplish that. :p
It is a beautiful, excellently crafted mission. Definately one of the best!
I loved the monkey (and associated donut). :) And the dancers. And some subtly-placed ladders and places to rope up. And many, many other nice touches everywhere.
This thread is very long, but I'm going to read it for (hopefully) clues and not outright spoilers as to the secrets locations so I can get the other two. The mission area is so large it would take me a long time to cover it with a fine-tooth comb to find the remaining ones. :)
Well done! :thumb:

I just finished my first (or first-and-a-half) runthrough of Night One. What an absolutely amazing mission so far! Congratulations and thank you Lady Rowena! :D
Got 2717 loot and 4 secrets on my own. Found the last secret thanks to some thread roaming.
I am making a LOOT LIST as I go along, and I need the missing 282 loot to complete it for Night One. If you can remember or direct me to hard-to-find loot, that would be great.
These are some of the hard ones I have found so far:
Bag of Spice inside window in street west of Basso's
Coins behind Malthus' banner
Candlestick beside organ in cathedral
Skull on bottom of grotto pool
Goblet on windowsill in hammer library
Wine crate on canal overhang up ladder (secret)
Ring on nightstand at missing girl's parents
Coins on cash register at Olivier's Clocks
Just found the:
Purse on top of the bell tower (didnt find the note hinting to it until now)
