Sorry, I think it's impossible to save Primo. I put him at the beginning just to add atmosphere, I thought that it was obvious that he is bound to die. When I realized that it was confusing for the player it was too late, but I changed the optional objective in: "Heal all the plagued citizens YOU CAN in this part of town." for that reason.

Yes, he's the fella right in the beginning with the goofy look on his face. I knocked out all of the nearby guards before they could assail him and then retrieved the holy water from the basement of the mayor's house. When I returned it didn't work!
I figured he was there just for atmosphere. However, it was bugging me for a while so I decided to see if he could be saved.

Not only atmosphere - it also graphically emphasises, whatever you do, don't lead a zombie into areas where guards will kill them which is what I did by mistake and quicksaved before I realized so poor old Primo died for me in vain that is not to say I didn't learn the lesson but that I just didn't know that particular zombie was alerted and following me and if this sentence goes on any longer it will be much too long.

Cant complete the final objective - "find a way to neutralize (i'm sure that z should be an ‘s' lol)...something something sister in this part of town" or something... :P
Every post in these 27 pages (i been through most) seem to be taffers who cant find the diary! LMAO... well i shouldnt laugh im sure the above Q is just as easy to solve!! HELP!!!

How did you manage to do it?!! As soon as you exit
from Basso's house, the guards are alerted by him....so how can you bj them? :confused:

I actually did that on my first play. I don't know how the engine works in regards to alerts, but
it seemed as if the guards were alerted to Primo, but not Garrett..? That allowed the first few to be blackjacked by some sprinting and circling, and Primo took care of the rest. When returning with holy water, I rationalized that Primo must've been a different type of zombie... Oops, how embarrassing!klatremus on 25/3/2008 at 02:21
