To reach that one you have to go to the Police Station, up to the ladder, where the archer is/was. From there you can exit to the roof and climb to an adjacent terrace. There is a ladder there, which leads down.....
BTW, did you heal Basso's neighbour?
Good luck! :)

I feel really stupid, but I simply cannot do this bit.
I'm behind the building where a sloping piece of stone leans against the wall, and a sloping window sill to your right leads towards a flat roof
I run, jump and fall.
Repeatedly.
Please, is there an easier way? Or is my Garrett just pathetically clumsy?

Lyril: Go up the extreme left hand edge of the sloping stone.

Thank you so much!! Now for some serious stuff.:thumb:
This is one really great FM. If Lady Rowena ever gets weary of Dromedding I think we fans will need to do some heavy petitioning. Or whatever it takes.

My, my, another great mission.
I'm in the first night, and having an absolute blast. No wonder I'm not getting any work done. :laff:

Many thanks Lyril and Fraser. I'm so happy to know that someone is still playing and enjoying my campaign! :)

If the rest of the series is as good as this, I'm in for a treat.
Just this month I've discovered enough top-quality missions to make up a whole game of Thief 2.
Somehow I had the impression that although the fan missions were fun, they weren't as good as the OM. But that was based on the few missions I played years ago. Now I come back to find that some of the fan missions are better than the originals. What a joy. :thumb:
Of course I'm stuck in the Cathedral right now. I can see a way up, if I can get to it...and the ghost isn't too easily alerted. Onward and upward!

When you finish this one try Rowena's Curse.
Try around the back. Remember your "mountaineering" skills. Be persistent. If you are already "IN", then check the main floor area above you. Use your telescoping EYE to get a good look. The tower, although it appears so, is not the way.

Got it. Not much different from the Haunted Cathedral,is it? I just went to the same spot on the same beam, and upsy-daisy.
However, I know I haven't done all that well so far in this mission. I am certain, for instance, that there's a secret in the cathedral on the ground floor, near where you first enter -- a bookshelf. But I can't figure out how to open it. Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure looks like a bookshelf that's just itching to be moved aside.
Also, do I get a sword in this mission? I can sneak past the Hammer ghosts, but I take great satisfaction in sending them back to the nine hells.:ebil:

Yes you get a sword. But you get it at the very beginning of the mission in day one. You need to go back and re-examine the weapons shop. If you have any equipment at all other than the BJ and keys, you missed the sword when you started collecting gear.
