Unfortunately I've lost that file after a Windows reinstall/hard disk crash, but I'm pretty sure that it was from Clive Barker's Undying.
Maybe I cut it and edited to fit my FM, but I don't think that the quality of the original file was any higher though. :)

I've made killing Malvina, and now, where the hell is that lava cave? And how can I open it? Please, direct spoils, not hints.
It's been three hours that I wander around..

Find the area where you first met the 'smoke shadow creatures' - a sort of "castle" entrance above some lava. Enter the "castle" and take the first path to the right. Follow this path to its end.

Thanks :)

Contains Spoilers: Do Not Read Unless You Really Want To Wreck Your Vacation Visiting Basso & His Wife.
Just about done with this mission, it has taken a long time because there were so many thievy things to do and see.
The first night was close to a real night almost to the point of reaching dawn. 5 hours it took me, much of spent on sight-seeing.
A fantastic mix of things to do and see in a city setting at high, low, middle, and occasional outskirt areas.
The second night was faster because of places I had already been, but with the total amount of tasks to be done it still took over 3 hours. The only problem I had was finding the letter professing love for Ophelia; could it be one of the gay librarians 2 timing his boyfriend? Other than that, I was figuring a successful tradesman somewhere, because it seems she would not find any of the nobility all that desirable after understandably leaving her dirtbag of a father. I never did find the letter. Pretty much everything else was done as far as the major objectives were concerned. I got a real kick out of the Hobb's Wine Pub area. The dancing girls in front of the pub were a nice touch, but in the tavern itself, getting blown off by the lady with a 5 O'clock shadow was very funny. :laff: I am quite relieved she did have a headache. I also could not get into a caged off house of what looked like it belonged to someone well-to-do and had haunting sounds in it. I am also curious about the barking dog nearby the man who died in his plate of crawling spaghetti.
The third night is now at about 3+ hours and I am stuck. I have the 7th sister's black heart, the prophesy is almost completed by the source of her powers having a fine meal, but I think I did something wrong. I leaned in to open the closed off teleport cage and shot the button with an arrow to open it then went after the black sister. This was done before I defeated the water nymphs and found that above them I needed to defeat some wind elementals. The barred gate to the portal near that black meanie's place is still closed, so I went to the second cave-like forest area with wood nymphs and crawdads and the game crashes there a little too often. I also would like to get at that wind witch near where the the seventh sister was munched.
Overall, with a few bugs aside, for me this is a wonderful thief experience with some of the best of thievy things to do, my favorite among them is a mix of roof top and city fun, with lots of guards to avoid and mess with.
Classic Thief experience. Love it!
Thanks Lady Rowena.
Who there, would ever think that some crazy babbling woman kept one night in the local police jail cell could have been this world's creative goddess and architect?

After two years it's the first time that I hear that a player did this! You played pratically in a reverse way....:D
You could even avoid to return back where the
water nymphs and the dead forest are.
At this point you only missed the lava area. Follow the indications that iansonz gave to massimilianogoi two posts above.
It's a pity that you didn't find the
"professing love for Ophelia" document. It was a diary. You should have visited the "room for rent" above the Dancing Burrick. (passing through the fireplace/chimney)BTW, there is nothing beyond the gate with barking dog, it was there just for atmosphere.
Thanks to you for the compliments, I'm happy to know that someone is still enjoying my campaign. :)

haunting sounds, but if you are talking about
Argan the Art Merchant´s house (the one that has a barred door from one side and a barred window from the other):To get into this house, search the
southern (inner) part of the burrick stables. If this house isn´t it, then which house do you mean?

That confused me too.....
On the other hand, how could OldMeat managed to gather the necessary loot if he didn't visit that house?

I don't know about OldMeat, but I got in from the plaza where the wine shop is the first time when I was Beta Testing.
I faked out the guard with a broadhead to the far corner where the Grate is to the area behind the dancers, ducked in and turned right, ran into the shadows while everybody was investigating the noise. From there I made it to the back window or whatever and got in the Antique/Art shop that way.

The place was somewhere near Hobb's Fine Wines, near the thieve's guild hideout on Clocktower Walk.
So, yes that would be the art dealer's place. I scored big when I hit the thieve's guild for everything they had.
I had been to the butcher's place and set the little burrick free and rope arrowed onto a rooftop with some dead noble who had been drinking some wine. As far as the stables which I visited I only went into Pinky's
I did meet all of the requirements to get through to the third night, but did not get the entire amount of loot on this part of the FM, this included defeating all of the sisters that were present in the second night. Maya, Violet and her buddy Scarlet if I remember their names correctly, the servant woman Zoraide who had zombified and enslaved one of the noblewomen's daughters.
