Many thanks taffers! I am happy to know that someone still plays ed enjoys my campaign! :)

Seven Sisters, and Rowena's Curse are my two favorites, and I am still replaying and discovering things in them.
Not one to read walkthroughs and spoilers, I thoroughly enjoy having to use creative thinking and heavy thought type problem solving.
Both are great missions. The plots, craftmanship (Craftladyship) are outstanding. To my thinking only "lord Alan" comes close to the craftmanship.
This is in no way a criticism of any of the other Dromedeers. We are inundated with genius in the FM field. But the fine detail and exquisite use of textures is exceptional in Lady Rowena's work.

Have played too many FMs in the past where it's just "run in, hit a couple of AIs on the back of the noggin with the ole blackjack, frob a few things here and there, listen to the jingle of coin, unlock a few doors, get the main object(s) in question, hit the Mission Complete screen, go on to the next FM..."
Okay, so that's how I (unfortunately, and admittedly, shamefully) approach a lot of missions. I don't have a whole lot of time to play, but I really want to, it's just that I tend to rush things a bit.
Can't do that with The Seven Sisters. I got stuck on Night One, because I wasn't slowing down and looking, reading (and rereading) everything, and thinking. I was stuck in my usual habitual rut and got burned because of it.
Maybe FM authors should start including an additional rating?
theBlackman gives this a 9.5 rating on the "Slow Down, Look, and Read Meter", taffer. You have been warned!
So, thanks, Dusty, you helped me out on this FM alot. I just didn't have to ask any questions directly to you. I just saw you bonking the other hack-and-slasher taffers on the head a few times and I didn't want to join that crowd. ;)

Hit Deity , :) glad to be of help. It's true. Bash and run is not an uncommon failing for many, many taffers. It is excessively demonstrated with the first time THIEVES who are used to Duke Nukem and such.
Patience is hard come by and thinking it through is getting to be a archaic form of game play.
Seven Sisters, Rowena's Curse, and a few others are definitely THINK first, READ, LOOK and then and only then, act. :)

You're right Blackman, but still... when somebody finish a mission after (let's say) 8 hours of playing, the perfect cover for a thief (the night) transforms intro a bright rising sun. Very bad for the business! :)
Personnaly, while being carefully for details and secrets, I also try to finish the mission with as less as possible loadings and in an adequatly amount of time (let's say 4 hours). As it would be in real life!

I generally try to do the same thing, but feel T7S is a notable exception.
Maybe you should check the 10th post (by Fidcal) on (

You're better off linking to a post rather than a page - some of us are only up to p18 so far.

I should have mentioned that I usually play on "Easy", or even "Hard" if that Hard allows me to blackjack at least some of the characters of the game (prefferably the guards).
I'm not doing ghosting, because at first hand, I think it's impossible to ghost. If you don't know what you are looking for (and you can't know that in the absence of proper exploration), it's not likely you would succeed ghosting.

Have only just 'discovered' how you can link to a post with the little icon in the top-
right corner of a post. Kept thinking the empty little squares in the top-
left corner meant that the facility was yet to be activated.
Oh, well, better late than never :tsktsk:
