All in all, I think that either you didn't like the environment of that part of the mission, or you were simply tired to play and wanted to finish it as soon as possible. Both reasons are completely understandable. On my part, I tend to build missions that I would like to play myself, as everyone of the authors do, I think, not to sadistically distress and annoy the players.
Those reasons probably factored into it alot...no harm done! I enjoyed the heck out of the rest of those missions! And I definitely didn't think you were trying to be sadistic, so sorry if I implied that. I'm going to go back sometime and replay some of your older missions, it's been years, and I remember enjoying them. And I look forward to any further missions you make.

Vigilante, I know it was hard to play at some parts, but it never kept me from enjoying this great release from Lady Rowena :thumb:
Remember that not a lot of Taffers are able to make such a FM and I find all of her released FM's to be really GREAT!!!
I wished I had the knowlegde to make such a FM like that!!!
I'm still trying to, but RL is allways catching up with me.

I know what you mean Gloria. Earning a living continually gets in the way of "living".

@Vigilante: you are right in that Night 3 is pretty tough when it comes to enemies and resources, but I think you´ll have a far easier time next time you play. I suggest you hoard those moss- and water arrows next time. ;)
A few pointers:
There are a total of 4 fruits and 3 apples in the mission. Not much, but it sure helps if you find them all.
Sirens (3) & small bugbeast-lookalikes (7): these can all be blackjacked, and it´s only two of the little ones that reside in the water cave. I use the dark cave with the 'downwards air stream' as base for BJ operations, and carry the unconscious bodies back there.
'Twig people' (4): These are quite deadly, but can be blackjacked. There is good cover if you follow the wall to the left when you enter the cave. One of them can easily be taken out from there. The combo of one patrolling and one swiveling enemy is trickier (and you also need to watch out for passing craymen and bugbeasts) but the last one is stationary and easy to take out from the rear.
Bugbeasts (3) and craymen (~5): Most of these have a rather long patrol route, so it´s usually not too hard to just avoid them if you follow the path in the same direction as they do. There are also several good spots to ambush them, but I don´t think any spot is dark enough to hide the corpse from the other incoming enemies. But there is plenty of space to work with if you have taken out the 'twig people' first.
Smoke Shadows (6, I think). These can be backstabbed, or killed with 3 moss arrows if they are unalerted. You may take damage from touching them (at least if they are alerted) so backstabbing can be dangerous. There is a pretty large number of moss arrows in the mission.
Fire Shadows (2) and Elementals (2): I save up at least 7 water arrows for this part (plus hopefully a few extras so I don´t need to hit every target on my first try...). 6 for the enemies, and one to douse a particular torch to get some cover.
Last weekend, I made it through Night 3 without reloads, something I am quite proud of. :cheeky: I´ve also done that on Night 1, but Night 2 still eludes me (one reload is my best). It´s not that there is anything really hard on Night 2, but there is simply so much to do!

I've found this gem of a mission later than everyone else. I appreciate that no one may be browsing this thread now but if they are I'm stuck on Night 1 at the cathedral .[SPOIL Can some kind person give me a direct clue as to how to get into it. I've bopped the two guards at the front and walked around it. I can see an open window at the back high up but can't put a rope arrow into it. Can't find any key either , what am I missing ? I'm getting to the stage when I may have to give up on it which is a shame as it's a great mission.SPOIL]. Sorry I'm so late in coming on the scene !
