OK, I found Bradley's room, got the rosary, got the key to SAturnine's room, been there, found the key to the Nursery.... (that was scary!) but I can't find the lever... :( :grr: :grr:

You need to
frob the bedside mat in Lord Saturnine's room, which opens a door to an attic. In the attic, search the posts for another lever and then look down through the window. :)
Thanks NightWalkier, getting there, I found the mat and the switch behing it. It opened a door to te attic. Which is the place where I get stuck again. I tend to look everywhere, no sign of any lever. My girlfriend told me to quit, but I think I spent like 20-25 minutes searching the room. Grrrr... :( :grr: :grr: There is the pirate flag, which treated with the sword revels nothing. At the other side of the room, there are 2 chests, but they are not frobbale, and teh window in the floor (is it the library down there?) and there are these posts/pillars. I walked around all of them... Also when I face the pirate flag, there is something to the left, it seems like an enterance to another room or something... But I can't get there, not enough space.
A small tip, perhaps?   :nono:

The lever you're searching for has eluded a lot of people, for some strange reason. It's on the back of a post, just to the left of the "window" in the floor. Look fairly high up. :)

Found it!!! :ebil: :thumb:
Thanks a lot for all the tips, it seems you never taffer around good enough. I thought I sniffed all posts very carefully. Grrrr... And I can't believe I missed the lever!!!! OK, now I am very very curious to look what's inside the tunnel. ;) I'm off to go to the library, thanks again! :thumb:

OK, the tomb complex was very impressive. And... I'm not sure if everything is fine with my version of the FM. I got down to the mage tomb, I found the scary room behind his grave, got the 7th book (woowie, that was scary) I met with Seraphiona and... yeah, Garrett gets knocked down, next there was a scene at the court and Garrett was sentenced to death.
Is that all? Game over? Can't be... I was expecting act 4. Is everything alright with my version of this FM?
Nightwalker on 18/7/2002 at 19:45
That's it, I'm afraid. There was a sequel planned but I don't know if it will be made now or not. Saturnine is working on something else that looks terrific, though. :)

Nightwalker - Thanks for all the help! Thanks to you I was able to accomplish this FM promptly. It's good to have you in this forum.
Shhh... I might say I was disappointed with the ending... I mean, don't get me wrong, the FM was absolutely amazing as a whole, one of the best I have ever player, a total blast! But the ending... I was sort of expecting next level, expecting things to turn out evil, deception, unexpected turn of events... And instead... it was just the end.
I'm not sur eif I understood... Seraphine turned out to be Alexandria, that was nice... But then why did Alexandria want the crystal? And she was able to deceive Lord Saturnine for so many years of their merriage. Who was Seraphina/Alexandria? She seemed to be some sort of demon or maybe just a witch...
Why did their child die? It seemed like something done on purpose, (all that weired stuff going on in their mansion) not just a tragedy... Was it Alexandria/Serapohina? And if so why? Why owuld she kill hr own baby?
And the most intriguing thing... who was the guy that knocked down Garrett? Alexandria reffered to him 'my love'. Was it Lordf Saturnine himself? Or was it someone else? I remember in a letter whch can be found in Alexandia's room she was saying something that she got a lover... Who was this lover guy?
Also, why would the crystal and the book be so evil? And what was that horror place that showed up when Garrett wanted to grab the book. These were grea, really superb elements (great job, Saturnine!), but thiungs were kinda not explained and left...

all these questions do actually have answers. many things in this mission aren't supposed to make sense until you play the sequal which, sadly, is unlikely to ever be completed (at least for thief2...)

OK, thanks! That makes sense... I really felt as if the game was cut right in the middle.
I watched the 'court trial' CamVator and I was thinking "Hmmm hmmm, I wonder how Garrett is going to escape the prison". Instead the game ended. :(
Too bad the sequal is unlikely to see 'daylight', the FM was really great! And I'd very much like to learn all the answers... :ebil: I think I'm not the only one, right? :)
