Thanks, ToolHead, for the 2x4 to the forehead. And thanks to Saturnine and friends for a fantastic FM experience.:thumb: :thumb:

Hey, you're in Namibia! You're one of the few members from Africa here; I think almost all the others are from South Africa. Welcome.

Oops. Sorry Norman Druart. I posted too fast and didn't read it over (too eager to get back to that great FM).
Yes, Garrett has made his way to the red sand dunes of the Namib Desert. Beautiful place. (An idea for an FM?)
Hope my apology is accepted. If it's any defense, Namibia is in the southern hemisphere and we're all standing upside down.
Thanks again.

Regarding the Conversation Bug:
When at first I got to Act 4, the conversation didn't begin. I reloaded from my last savegame, changed the difficulty (from Hard to Expert), and didn't encounter the problem.
Dunno if this helps.
I nearly forgot to say how truly enjoyable this mission was, and how much I'm looking forward to the sequel. There will a sequel, I hope?...
Im stuck and need help! How do I get down to the crypt behind the priests grave?! Please help me! :erg:
Marecki on 6/10/2002 at 10:59
You've got all the way to the grave and can't get into the tunnel? Okay, now this is weird.
Try positioning yourself centrally and crouching.

Is this the Mages Grave??

dump009.pcx If not: were is it?

Are you trying to find the mages grave and are not sure where it is, or are you there and can't get behind it?
The entrance to the grave is through the library in the floor behind the desk in front of the fireplace. The trigger for the entrance is upstairs in the attic. If that has already been done then to actually get to the grave you have to find the lever that triggers the floor when you get down to the new area.
BTW I can't see the picture you have posted so I can't verify where you are, sorry.

I know there's a lot of posts on this mission already. I was reading some of them, looking for my answer, and I was starting to read a little more than what I need to know. So please forgive me for making yet another post.
First of all I'm playing v2b, just in case that matters. I'm in Saturnine's bedroom and:
I've thrown the switch under the mat near the bed. This opened up a secret room behind me. I've gone in there and turned on the lights, and Garrett says, "I should be able to find something in here".
There are 2 or 3 chests in there and a bunch of crates. The problem seems to be that nothing is frobbable. Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't find anything to interact with at all. Help!
I've also run all over the mansion looking for some other secret rooms and couldn't find any.
I think I also read on another post that there should be a 2nd switch on one of the bed posts in Saturnine's bedroom? If so I can't find that either.
I was even in the Nursery, and didn't find a way to proceed in there neither. So, I'm quite at a loss as to what to do next?
Other than this, I want to say that this mission has one of the best stories of any of the FMs that I've played yet. It's so moody and atmospheric that I just love it. I can't seem to pull myself away from it, even to go to sleep. I'm really wondering how the little girl died, and if that's going to figure prominently in the story. (but don't tell me that) It's really such a sad touching story. I must say that the devs of T3 are going to have to work extra hard to come up with a story that's better than some of the FM stories.
I love this mission, so someone please tell me how to proceed.
