You're on the right track. There is a second switch but it's not on a bedpost. Check the
support post to the left of the big chest in the secret attic room. Next, look through the floor window to see what happens.

Hehe I spent about an hour at the exact same point you are at last night. I was sooooo frustrated! Anyhow, you are in the right area where Garrett said the thing about he should be able to find something in that room. You mentioned the box that looks like it should be able to be unlocked but you cant. Try looking around there a bit closer. All directions so to speak. You never know what you might find hanging around in the back areas of the rafters of old houses...
Sorry, I dont know how to make those blued out spoilers yet, so trying to be sufficiently vague as to not give it straight away :)

The blue spoiler cover is really easy to make. When you start typing an answer, look above the box you're typing in and you'll see a row of buttons that say: (
http://,) @, IMG, etc. The very last one is Spoiler. Just click on it and a text box pops up in the upper left corner of the screen. Type in the text that you want hidden, hit "OK" and it puts it in your post. You can also just type [SPOILER} at the beginning of the section you want to hide and [/SPOILER} at the end, but change the end bracket from } to ] on each one. :)

I am just curious if there were two endings to this mission or something or is the one with the meeting on the bridge the only one? I loved the mission. It was challenging with so much tile flooring in that mansion hehe. But the end i saw seemed a bit anti-climactic to me. Maybe I just did something wrong? Dunno. Oh well hehe. Still great mission overall.

Did the ending play through the meeting on the bridge and the scene after that for you? There's an occassional bug that prevents the conclusion's conversations from playing properly.

As Norman Druart said there is another scene after the bridge. It takes just a minute and the screen will go black first. I believe you have to "continue" to start the next scene also. I hope you can view the final scene. I was laughing so hard I missed some dialogue!
Aktunka on 25/10/2002 at 04:20
Yes lol. I saw the thing after the bridge. I guess it just didnt sit well with me that being the end result. I wanted to remedy the situation and get what I felt I deserved heh. Still a good mission, I played it for quite awhile.

Thanks for the tip, Nightwalker! That will be much, much, much easier than trying to be very vague as to not spoil it for those that dont want it spoiled, but still give enough info to help the other person hehe.
Thanks a LOT! This was my test to make sure I did it right =P
Well I just finished playing the 7th Crystal, and I must say that
I am a little disappointed. First of all, I had Alexandria pegged for a better person than that. I also thought how the little girl died was going to be revealed and that something would be made of the fact that she's now a ghost. I was also expecting some kind of trouble from the mage after Garrett steals the book.
But even with the way it did go
I certainly expected something after Garrett was arrested, tried, and found guilty. I didn't expect to play another jail break mission, but I thought there'd be something where he exonerates himself. (except for, of course, that he was guilty).
Even so, I did love this mission. It was an excellent job well done, and my congratulations to the makes. I guess what I'm saying is that it definitely deserves a sequel.
Something where Lord Saturnine and Alexandria find out and realize that they both really do love each other, and that they are both blaming their daughters death on themselves, and not on each other. Meanwhile it could be that Alexandria had sold the Sapphire and now Garrett has to steal it back and replace it in Lord Saturnine's house so the whole thing looks like a mistake. Or something like that.
Or maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic. LOL
But I do have 1 question.
One of the reasons I didn't expect the mission to end yet was because the Read me file said there was a weapons store in this mission. That never happened for act 2, so I figured that before you play act 3 or 4 there would be a store. Whatever happened to the store? Or did that go away when v2 became v2b?
Nevertheless, I thank Dave and Saturnine co. for a great and enjoyable mission, and I hope you make a sequel. :thumb: :thumb:
