You're on the right lines with your second question. To reach the room you can see from the attic you must
go through Saturnine's bedroom on the top floor. I think the key is somewhere in the servants' quarters.
From reading your post, it sounds like you've already overheard the conversation. Have you
found Brady and taken the two keys he's wearing? Once you have those, you can get into the Museum and take the item you require. After that, the door to the servants' quarters will open automatically. Use Brady's key to get into his room in there and you'll find the key you need to get into Lord Saturnine's room.
Thanks but
Oddly, the door to get the servant's quarters just became open. It was locked before and unopenable (maybe this is part of the plot). I have all the servant keys, but I still cannot open the doors to Saturine's chambers upstairs. There is one door in the servant's quarters area that is still locked and unopenable.
Nevermind I figured it out. Thanks for the help.

From the beginning of the cam vator intro to the basement of Saturnine's mansion, my expression can be described with the following smiley.
:wot:
Simply amazing no?
Anyway, I need some help. I can't locate Bradey. I can't even get into the servants quarters.
Secondly, the stairs leading the third floor, what's the best way to get rid of the two guards?
Nightwalker on 9/10/2003 at 03:38
Did you get into the attic and listen to the conversation between Bradey and Elizabeth? Once you've done that, head up to the third floor and you'll find them. Bradey has a key you need.
The door to the servants' quarters will open after you've been in the Museum and picked up a certain item.
You can actually sneak behind those guards if you want to but it's not too hard to BJ them either.
Child of Karras on 9/10/2003 at 04:02
Attic... nope. Or do you mean the place where that complaining guard was reloacated? Near the mueseum?
And if I'm wrong, where is the attic?
theBlackman on 9/10/2003 at 04:12
To the right of the mezzanine over the front entrance as you look at the double doors below. It is tight against the balcony railing. There is a small door. You will need the Attic key to get in.
Child of Karras on 9/10/2003 at 04:53
Hoo... Now I can't find the attic key!
Nightwalker on 9/10/2003 at 13:22
Look in
the Library. The key is inside a safe in an alcove upstairs.
Thanks. Already found it though. Okay 2nd question!
Where is the darn entrance to the crypt?
[EDIT]Did a search and found my answer.
And in other news, did anyone else wait endlessly for Bradey to unlock the door to the servant quarter?
Does the "M" represent Mercedes? I've heard her name being mentioned but never knew which FM she came from.
