ethne - Are you still in Act 2 or have you gone on to Act 3? I don't want to spoil things by giving you hints for the wrong place.
Act 2 - <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080">If you are trying to open the entrance under the library floor, you need to go up to Lord Saturnine's bedroom, move the mat beside the bed, frob the lever there which opens an entrance behind the armoire. This takes you to a second attic area, where there is a switch on high up on one of the posts by the glass window in the floor. That will do it for you.</font></div></blockquote>
Act 3 - <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080">If you are trying to open the floor here, look up on the balconies and you will see one has a big lever on it. You have to get up there using an elevator. Go look for one and on the level it takes you to, look for another one that will take you down to the second level, where the lever is. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> </font></div></blockquote>

I realize the answer is probably really obvious, but I can't seem to figure out <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080">how to open the cage that the chest is in, at the museum</font></div></blockquote>.
I've really been impressed with this mission so far, it's so pretty it hurts the eyes. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">
And the opening cinematics - brilliant! It was just like a movie opening...

V. Equinox - <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080">You need to go into the guard's area on the main floor and look around. There's a spot in there with a lever to raise it. <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> </font></div></blockquote>

Did anyone else immediately think "
Doom/Quake!" when that happened, or was it just me? Even the sound! <img src="cool.gif" border="0">
I've already posted my thoughts over at the <a href="http://www.ttlg.com/forums/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=14&t=007650&p=2" target="_blank">thief general discussion forum</a>, but in short - this rocks.

Many thanks to zacharias for the tip re the doors, sorry Wynne it might be unthiefy but if you can tell me where the keys are I'll replay the section of act 2.
Ethne: you go to the tomb automatically at the start of act 3, if you're trying to get in during Act 2 forget it. You'll get there eventually.
I think I was most impressed with the cut scenes, this has to be the most proffesional FM to date.
Please, please, please make a sequel, this is begging for loose ends to be tied up:
1. the real significance of the crystal.
2. what the little M cards are?
3. is the attacker in Act 4 Cutty?
4. how do you escape
3. is the attacker in Act 4 Cutty?
The attacker in act 4 is the nasty bad captain of the guard - he looks just like his mural did in the act 2. Also, there are writings hinting that the woman has taken him as a lover
Also
I think we can safely assume that Garrett will escape prison before being executed!!!

Try replaying it; you missed a conversation, most likely, and my personal favorite one. :) You need to get the library key from a guard on the second floor in the tiled area. Then, going into the library and opening the safe, then reading the book inside causes a guard to appear in the level who has the attic key. From there, you see a conversation which triggers the mysterious helper, "M", to give you a hand with getting Bradey's keys.

Thanks Wynne.
To be honest I took the option of blowing up the doors after much thought. I seemed to have been everywhere else, <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080">I had been to the library and read the book, but missed the attic totally, also if I came across the new guard I must have missed the fact that he had a key.</font></div></blockquote>
Keeper, thanks for the observations, <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080">I guess I missed the assailant's identity</font></div></blockquote>, I think I was too Gob smacked by the brilliance of the mission.
Also <blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial, sans-serif">Spoiler:</font><div style="background-color:#000080"><font color="#202080"> it would be nice to play through the escape, especially when produced by Saturine (un-reserved bowing and scraping to the stunning fan mission)</font></div></blockquote>
Never mind, I'm definetly going to play it again, pick up on all the little things I missed first time. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

Alright, I really really really love this mission but, I have one question...where are the museum and library keys??? I've looked high and low for them and I still can't find him. Please help me.... a subtle hint would be appreciated more than telling me outright......Thanks
