Well, I was wrong. I dislike bonepile, so I made a couple of alternatives. The first is something that looks half buried bones, best used on a sand or dirt surface. The second is a small pyramid of skulls. Then, just because, I made a new spearpoint for the spear object and then stuck a skull on it.

I like! Makes me want to revisit my mayan pyramid follow up idea to Whispers in the Desert.

The skeletons look great, and thanks for providing also lower jawed ones!
I think the bonepile could need more loose bones than skulls!? A skeleton has only one skull, but a few more bones. A skullpile is still a great thing to have too, of course.

OK. Here's a bone pile made of individual bones. It's not a single skeleton's bones though. The other standard object replacements are all bones from a single skeleton. This new pile is a mix from multiple skeltons.

And now maybe you could pile them up more, to make the pile higher than wide?
LarryG on 2/12/2010 at 15:14
Um, that's the original bonepile object. There are too many polys required to do decent looking pile with just bones, and that textured mound with a couple of bones resting on top does not look very good, either the original or my version, except maybe from a distance. Sorry, but if I thought I could do better I would. This is it for my bone piles right now.

Okay. Those bones still look good even if they do not form a proper pile.

For Queue.
I saw this and thought it very funny and appropriate somehow for the thread. However, if this offends anyone and/or violates any forum rule, PM me and I'll remove it immediately. If anyone thinks they can make the custom motions necessary ... I could make use of them ...
