Looking fantastic! I prefer the darker eyesockets there, but like you've said about other bones, the second one may look better in situ. All in all, this skeleton's gonna look fantastic! Are you going to be putting the new bones together into a skeleton AI perchance?

What nicked wrote.
And you did a great job blending the two textures.

:erm: Honestly? I hadn't given that a thought. My goal was to get decent looking pieces for my mission, and it got out of hand. :tsktsk: I suppose I could try and see if they all would assemble into an AI ... it would give me a use for the clavicle I made but could not use due to the extra polys it added ... I would have to straighten out the arm ... maybe make a patella ... I'm trying to think if any other significant bones are missing ...
(Humming)
The toe bone connected to the foot bone
The foot bone connected to the heel bone
The heel bone connected to the ankle bone
The ankle bone connected to the leg bone
The leg bone connected to the knee bone
The knee bone connected to the thigh bone
The thigh bone connected to the hip bone
The hip bone connected to the back bone
The back bone connected to the shoulder bone
The hand bone connected to the wrist bone
The wrist bone connected to the arm bone
The arm bone connected to the el bone
The el bone connected to the shoulder bone
The shoulder bone connected to the neck bone
The neck bone connected to the head bone
Dam bones, dam bones gonna' walk around ...
I got 'em all except the patella. I guess I'd better try and make an AI just like the song says I should.

That skull looks excellent!
Only thing is that it looks a little dark now, more brown than off-white. I guess I'd have to see it in-game to be sure, though.

Been buried in dirt!
As I said (or think I said, or planned to say, or thought about saying ...), I will offer both light and dark versions of the textures, so folk can decide for themselves. You, NV, get to decide for the EP, or even recolor them to your own tastes. Let the bones fall where they may, I say. :p

That skull's looking really good. Maybe I should redo the skully bros. lol, nah...

Finally!
I added back in some of the definition to the eye sockets that I had lost in all the color adjustments. I also replaced most of the stretchies on the bottom of the skull with something more reasonable, and capped most of the teeth. Whew!
Now on to finalizing the aged 256x256 textures and creating alternate textures that are more ivory than brown. Then back to my mission which is already in progress. I've distracted myself long enough to get interested in it again! :laff:

Now that's looking really great!

I've got all the bones assembled and scaled. I'm still not happy with the ribs, and the pelvis may need to be angled differently some, and the textures need tweaking to look like each bone belongs to the same skeleton as the others, but I think another day or so may see an end to this diversion. Whether or not it can become an AI, it will, at least, be a decent set of bones to place in my mission and to offer to the EP.
