Certainly. I'll do Soulforge first since it's the easiet.
Beating Soulforge in under five minutes.
1. RUN straight to the plans room door
2. Turn around
3. Grab a hold of Luthien's leg
4. Pull

I've been working on it after beating the levels so many times. Your speed runs are a real challenge to meet, much less beat.
Out of curiosity, regarding Metal Age, what difficulty level do you do the speed runs at?
Luthien on 29/12/2003 at 21:54
Normal, because of the fewer mission goals.
I never thought T2 could be completed anywhere near as fast as TG, but to my surprise it took only a little more.
If you want to beat one of the times, Soulforge is a good candidate. I made a mistake right at the beginning (took the wrong scroll) and had to return later since I did not want to begin the mission from scratch. And I stopped optimizing when the speed potion bug occured, just headed for the last transmission tower and then for the exit. On the other hand I had three speed potions, three feather fall potions (great for leaping large distances), five flash bombs (to disable combat bots) and three frog beast eggs (to fall from great heights), paid with the loot from the previous mission.

I always found thiefMA much harder than tdp as far as speed goes because there as so many exploitable things in tdp which are not bugs.
On expert
RTC= fastest time 0.55
skull by door method
Maw of chaos= 10 mins= took it at a full blown sprint,( with the jumping way of moving) however may have been 11 mins
On normal (includes ones above)
Baffords= 2 mins ten, i have heard its been done quicker
the old quarter = not got a time but its just a matter of running to the keeper grotto and bombing the torches, is there a loot obj?? this could be a hinderance.
Escape= 5 mins the old sprint method, the first time i actually ever played this lev i completed it, i got seen and did a runner and found the exit, (rather ruined the experience actually)

Look at the first four posts in this thread. All known mission times are there.
I'll add your times to the lists.

Do you mean The Haunted Cathedral? Yes, there is a loot object. On normal, you need 700 gold. Still, it can be done in 2:47, or even less.

I've decided to start speedrunning Thief... good to see there are others who enjoy it too. I just have two times so far...
Running Interference - Expert - 3:07. Not sure why Basso's time varies, but I guess I got lucky.
Shipping & Receiving - Normal - 3:08. You must be taking a different route than I am to get 2:52, but I can't find anything faster than the way I'm going now.
Both of these are done in a straight run (no saving) and without exploiting glitches (except jumping and strafing to move faster, if you count those as glitches). Any runs I do in the future will probably be done the same way.

You guys are making me sad, I'm clocking 4-8 hours per level in The Metal Age.
Of course, I take my time and explore everything, and haven't finished the game before. :D

That's quite normal. My first run through First City Bank & Trust said 6 hours 45 minutes on the stats screen, and all I'd done was meet the objectives.
I can't do things fast. I slip and fall.

Just did Maw on expert for TDPG in 12 minutes flat. (no reloads) I could shave off a little time there. Fell off the platform in the big tree with the red spider so I had to climb the rope again. Missed the first moss arrow shot at the portal so that added a few seconds. Stopped for the fruit at the ice slide. I guess those three things added about a minute to my time.
Luthien's time of around 8:30 is incredible! Must be the kangaroo jumping master.:thumb:
