* 50% off worms golf
* 50% off wings of prey
* 50% off dungeons of dredmore
* 50% off uplink
How did everyone go for games? My total for those was:
* Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum (won)
* Tropico Complete Pack (traded coal for)
Considering I spent $0 for any of those, I'm happy with that.
Oh and:

I think they stipulate that it doesn't work on anything they release during the time window that it's valid.
You're probably correct, when I saw what it was and the time limit on it I didn't bother to read any further.

Ended up with:
DoD (Meh)
HL2: Episode 2 (Meh)
50% off brink coupon (Meh)
7 lumps of coal (Meh if I don't win anything with them)

Crafted my 7 coal into a stupid Valve coupon. Looked it up and apparently they're out of all the other game coupons, so crafting now will only net you a valve game or a valve coupon. Lame.
:weird:
That's like saying you cannot keep writing your essay because Word is out of paper...

Why is Steam running out of keys so hard to believe? They're just a retailer, so they only have finite stock of 3rd party keys at any given time (They can probably infinitely generate keys for Valve games though). No different than brick and mortar in this respect.
Yakoob on 2/1/2012 at 07:40
Yea I know the publisher probably only gives Valve an 'x' amount of keys so it's not Valve's fault. But still. It's not like you can't just... generate more keys, ya know. There's only like several billions upon billions of possible combinations.

Yes but they've probably reached arrangements with third party devs to give away, say 1000 copies of their game. It's a loss leader. The third party company is hardly going to say "Oh, you've already given away our game 1000 times? Here, have some more lost sales!"
henke on 2/1/2012 at 18:41
Soooo, when is The Great Lottery taking place? The sale is over and I still have my 9 pieces of coal.

This one's a freebie: I've got a Zenoclash Steam code to the first person who PMs me.
Got it off the latest (
http://www.indieroyale.com/) Indie Royale bundle, in case you'd rather go buy it for cheap instead.
EDIT: And it's been claimed.
