Did anyone else run into this one?
When I got into the inner Keeper Compound (where they had Garrett on trial), I noticed a strange green glow in the ceiling just above where the first flight of stairs ends. It wasn't visible when I went up the next flight of steps, and all efforts to frob/affect the light failed. I took a screenshot, but ended up turning off my computer before I thought to paste/save it as an image file.
It wouldn't be hard to find again, if needed, but I was curious as to if anyone else had seen it.
In the first real mission when you start out,
on the right side where the cook opens the door for you, there is a barrel you can mantle on which puts you into a position to mantle onto the rooftop. Do it, and you just may end up a few stories opposite of where you thought you were climbing!
Oh, and you're gonna die. Almost forgot. :p
And, as a personal funny experience, in the captain's mansion, in the first room with a lady and a chest of treasure, I got on the staircase and R-Clicked on the chest from behind it. The lockpicking motion automatically brought me into the position, but with a special twist: instead of being in front of the chest picking its lock, I was put inside the said chest with its treasure. I took the
necklace
and a picture [screenshot] before another R-Click put me in front of the chest this time and I quickly escaped the light. Now this is true master thievery if I saw any!
If anyone knows how to post pictures, I'm happy to email it to you!

I noticed that too, but couldn't find a way to see what it was.

Pardon the double-post folks, but here're three extra things to add:
Many times later in the game I have frobbed a candle to make it go out, only to find that although the light will vanish the flame will not.
Inline Image:
http://users.ncable.net.au/~abirch/Thief/thief3/candlelight.jpgThe second thing is really weird. I got down to two health playing 'lead the Haunt to the unsuspecting Hammerites' and one of them got too close. I shot a fire arrow when he was almost upon me, was stuck by part of the blast and lost two health points
but didn't die. I was running around with zero health. Luckily for me I hadn't used the health font yet that day so I managed to heal myself up fully.
Finally, in the Old Quarter Pub there is a lady wandering behind the bar. I had pushed on of the tapped kegs onto the ground behind the bar when I was stuffing about and laughed as she has to struggle to climb over it. I went off to have some fun taunting guards for a few mintues and when I came back the lady was lying dead, bent over the keg.
She must have somehow knocked/killed herself trying to walk over the top of the keg.
Still in the same pub. One time I went in there following a Hammerite (I was wondering what he was doing going into the pub and decided to see if anything interseting was going to happen). Well, he just stood there doing nothing so I started throwing mugs at the other patrons' heads. As you do.
Well, after I hit this one bloke half a dozen times he got very angry with me and said some hurtful words. My good friend the Hammer took offence at this and chased him out of the pub and beat him to death.

I don't think anyone mentioned this specifically, since I think Dew-Drop was referring to the ability to drop through the level in that spot.
Has anyone else noticed weirdness when mantling? Too often, even when I go to great lengths to straighten out my body, Garrett will make a 90 degree turn and move up and forward in that direction instead, usually leading to him dropping back to the floor since there's NOTHING to climb onto in that direction. Once, in trying to get the
south quarter gas arrow
this quirk led to Garrett being ten feet in the air and at least five feet from anything he could have used to get that high :weird:
I've been taking print scrn screen shots during my games. Here's what I've collected thus far:
* Unconscious guard leaning against the wall as if weak or tired, each foot imbedded in the floor so you can't see the toes.
* An unconscious Keeper scribe who crumpled into a kneeling position, his hands positioned as if he just picked up a contact lens or something.
* A picture of quadruplets. The city section randomly spawned four identical women over one visit that I managed to capture in a single screenshot.
* In the
overlook
, my mantling antics got me stuck beneath the floor without falling. I took a screenshot. If anyone else wants to try reproducing it, it's
in the second mission zone, at the pair of stairs connecting the first and second floors. I think, though I can't quite remember now, that I tried mantling over the middle rail on the second floor, was relieved that I didn't fall to the bottom, and quickly tried to mantle back up.
Running around the invisible floor for a little bit led me to falling through the infinite vastness of space.
* One of those upright swords next to an unconscious person.
* A poor unconscious guard whose elbow got stuck inside his chest, leaving his forearm to protrude out from the middle of it.
* A picture of Garrett after a deadly fall. I was playing around with the debug menu for the first time, though, so this one has camera location info and fullbright. Garrett's practically in a position to form a double square, with his arms stretched to either side, and each of his legs bent into a |_ and _| position so that his feet touch his arm or hand.

Dew Drop sent me the picture of this unusual feat.
Here it is:

Happened to me too. I spent a good half hour trying to get it, with various objects to help. I think it's a gas arrow, judging by the color. It must be JUST beyond the world geometry, making it so that frobs are blocked by the wall. That thing is like an itch you can't scratch! AARGH!!!
In the (day 5 or so spoiler)
Clocktower, 2nd half, there's a chest next to a desk, right before an elevator that contains some loot and an oil flask. It can't be just me, but it's impossible to frob the oil flask without moving it. I couldn't frob it unless I flicked it with my dagger, used a fire arrow on the chest, or a mine, or got one of the guards to jostle the chest. Extremely aggrivating if you're trying to ghost that area because there are 5 guards nearby.

Happened to me too. Drove me insane, but I wasn't really using oil at that point, so I ended up leaving it rather than make a heap of noise.
