I'm pretty sure that tallow is a derivative of lard, i.e you get it from melting people down.
Ah, thanks! :thumb:
That would make sense.

(edit: addendum)
If there was a missing patient, I guess I'd assume it was King No-one, safe from the fire in his isolation tower. Then, he just waits for the flames to die down, jumps down the pipes and saunters out the door!
Heh, I always wondered why they put a patient into a room where it was so obviously easy to commit suicide.

What noose?
The one in his cell, a doll/dummy type thing is hanging off it.

Righto, I missed a lot if this stuff, cause I spent all of my time in the cradle wishing I wasn't there, and trying to get it over with as fast as possible

Doesnt wax just evaporate if you heat it up much more than with a candle? Or does it depend on the type of wax?
ercles on 24/10/2006 at 11:32
I'd imagine there would be a point between being hot and evaporating that would suit disfiguring someone's face (which is extremely sensitive skin, don't forget).

This is all getting a bit ghoulish... :laff:
But yes, apparently, wax boils. According to Google, a bunch of kids in Hong Kong regularly get admitted to the local burns units after contact with boiling wax, during some mid-autumn festival, every year.
Also, let's not overlook the fact that nowhere in the game does it specifically say that the woman was disfigured with wax. That's just an inference. He could have had some other use for the wax; a mask, or something.
