There's a chest in Killing Time towards the very beginning of the mission (in a room with a patroling priest, or something) where no matter what angle I moved to, the pouch would not highlight, and I could not take it. I jumped on the chest, crouched, and ended up getting stuck. I couldn't stand up or jump out at all. I could, for some odd reason, close the lid on myself (it would just go through me), but I couldn't get out! Eventually I had to reload my game from my last save.
Anyone had this happen to them with the same chest? Or a different one?

I've actually lost sleep over that exact pouch.
Stoopid pouch.

Ditto... I usually ended up leaning into it to get the stuff.

I've had the same problem. Once I got in the chest and couldn't get out.
I found the best way to get it is to get on the bottom bunk of the bed, near the edge by the chest, and just slowly move your head left and right (very slowly). Hopefully, the object will light up and let you frob it. Your head will have to be in exactly the right position though - if it's even so much as a cm too far left or right, you won't be able to frob it.

I'll have to try that, although it'll probably be awhile - I don't normally go back to places I've already gotten through.

Hell, unless you're really strapped for cash, or you're going for 100% loot, don't bother. Normally I'd say go back for it, but I just hate Killing Time. Probably my least favourite Thief mission ever.

I'm not big on that 'must get 100% loot' thing... must be the lazyness talking;) I'm not sure what my least favorite mission would be... although my favorite Thief mission of ALL the versions is The Sword, when you ropb Constantine's mansion. Went through it twice before I got my new computer and the game refused to work on it:grr: Damn, I wish I lived in that place....;)
But I'm getting WAY off topic...
