This way, the Cragscleft zombie looks far more kindly:

http://people.freenet.de/graveyard/etc/zombiefungi.jpgBeside, he can also now
illuminate his environment more properly, and the zombie is compatible with my theory! The wet atmosphere of the mines causes heavy fungal growth  on him.
Note that only two of the fungi are actually glowing, wich is an indicator of their freshness. The other ones could be decades old, and won't bother the corpse with their light anymore.

What are you on?

I like zombies! They are somehow fascinating, in a morbid way!

At first I thought this thread was interesting, then I progressed to amused, then I became confused, now I think I'm at concerned, or perhaps very, very disturbed.
Time to run away and hide until it goes away!

On the issue of zombies:
A person is made up of three basic things, body mind and soul. A zombie is someone with a body (rotten, but still) and a soul (must... have... brain...), but no mind. Therefore they are stupid buggers.
On the issue of mechanical zombies:
In order to turn himself into a mechanical being, Karras must have experimented upon people first and thereby created crude cyborgs. Chances are slim that they survived, but what if they were resurrected? Karras would probably not have done it himself, but his experiments could have been sold to magicians by the guy in charge of getting rid of the mechanoid corpses.

I smell a fan mission in the distance.
Though I probably won't be the maker.

With new zombies - sure! I imagine an abandoned graveyard with some crypts on it: You start in a coffin, 6 feet under the surface, and must use your dagger plus blackjack to get out of your grave. On the surface, you encounter that two undead corpses have done the same thing! Having nearly no proper equipment to encounter them, you head over into a crypt, that was sealed in former times, but is now infested by zombies who fell into its chimney. Inside, you can find much loot, but after having taken the necklace of a female zombie the corpse is getting angry - so it bite you. Realizing the lack of cover inside the crypt, the only safe way to get out of this haunted graveyard is jumping over the roofs of all crypts! Of course, you will see a diamond blinking at you on a tomb stone - so you choose the *unsafe* way to exit the location. After having 100% of the available loot, you will be surrounded by zombies and you will have no other choice than to fight your way through them with your little dagger. Fortunately for you, you can see the exit, which appears to lead to an abandoned Hammerite church... [map change]

weebo, what do you mean? We aren't talking about AI here ;), but about mushroom infested walking corpses (what forum?). I think mechanical zombies can be pretty funny, as long they contain a zombie's brain, (
http://people.freenet.de/graveyard/gallery_mechanist.htm) like this one! I wouldn't call them androids, though. Imagine a moaning mechanical corpse that shambles around... maybe
undead mechacorpse would be appropriate.

not to mention the lady zombie in "Blackmail" in the "Do Not Press This Button" basement :ebil:
Hmmm... I don't remember the woman in here moving at all (I was playing patched version) and when I pressed the button it released one of those big spiders - which promptly attacked me as I frantically jumped up and down in panic!
