Before you get going into sounds etc. please focus on concept art. Sounds and such like will come later. :thumb:

Guys, you do realize that I'm recording a complete 'vocal' set for the Dark Mod, and that there will already be zombie noises?

Then there would be many projects using the same zombie noises.
Also, there might be a need for special zombie noises - such as for a surprised zombie or a zombie breaking out of a closet while the player reads a book which lies on a desk on the opposite wall, so that the player doesn't see the zombie immediately but hears him breaking out. (Think necromancy tower! The scene would have been even better if the zombies would have made a special noise.)

Ominous Cowl is on his own here, so take this up with him. Ultimately I think the vocal set the dark mod comes with will be fine.

You will see.

What's up with the zombie fetish? Is Unforeseen Consequences about the Night of the Living Dead? Gee, let's have a zombie army eating zombie stew, zombie steak, zombie pot-pie, and zombie pasta while zombies are being hauled around by zombie horses and carts as the player gets turned into a zombie for zombies' sake. I'm taking this project less and less seriously :erg:

The project is serious and I have spoken to Ominous Cowl about this. Trust me this is not a zombie fest. The storyline centers around the undead but it is not just the undead. They occupy about 1/3 of the story and appear in quite a few missions but they are by no means all of it (think the catalyst rather than the whole). The undead are serious/not funny part of the project, we are trying to recreate the same level of genuine fear and realism Thief's undead brought you (but with better models and textures :laff: )
Also Ominous Cowl can you please keep this zombie stuff in the private forums from now on so people don't get turned off right away without reviewing the whole project (almost like ascottk did).

Yes, Kingers.
