LOL. It's getting better and better. :)
At least it serves for amusement. :ebil:
Everyone who records some zombie noises gets also the secret password for our (

The only one who doesn't want them being used in the new project is kingers...
Well that's none of his business, unless you assigned copyright ownership to him.
Taffer36 on 4/2/2006 at 19:01
Why is Kingers acting so 3 year-old-ish now?
SubJeff on 4/2/2006 at 20:07
Because that's the tone of the project. I'm bored now. This thread needs locking.

He ain't kidding!
You guys better get serious real soon. I suggest reading the wealth of advice already posted about how to save this project. People are still interested, but if you don't start producing, soon everyone will give up on this.
I personally love the darker undead aspects of Dark Project which is why I am still interested, but get going!

Wasn't it one of the advices that hey should ignore such comments? :ebil:
I know that I certainly ignored such statements for TDM in the beginning. I do TDM because I enjoy making it, not because I want the TTLG crowd to cheer me. If they are doing this project because of fear to loose audience, then the project will die sooner than later. The only way how to get it going is to enjoy the process of making it. If the TTLG crowd likes the project, this is certainly additional motivation, but I strongly doubt that it would be enough to sustain the project on it's own.
Goldmoon Dawn on 4/2/2006 at 22:53
Of course, that *should* be a given. Having to explain that kind of says something to begin with. However; I think it would be awfully strange for Dark Mod to be completed, then never released to the public. The fact that these personal projects are talked about on these boards inevitably raises hopes and expectations from the audience.
I am just one person looking forward to seeing this thing go somewhere.
sparhawk on 4/2/2006 at 23:53
LOL. Of course I didn't mean that it should not get released. Of course it will be released, and I guess this is the goal of most projects. But the happines of the audience is not enough motivation to keep you working on such a project for a longer time. After all we are talking here about several years of continuous work.

Excellent point. I wonder if The Consequences crew have fully grasped that yet.

I don't think it has sunk in yet. :)
