They could hardly leave those and sound like an inviting little town. You see it at the intro to every episode. Notice how well I am camouflaged against it?
First let's go to this old depot. It is the store Carl and Michonne risked life and limb to retrieve a picture (the only one left) of his mom and family. In the series they headed the wrong direction from where it actually is. Editing magic. They also took the entire entrance out to replace it with theirs then replaced the original. Notice Santa? He was a tad early if you ask me. Thanksgiving was still weeks off.
The inside was gutted. The production crew puts things back exactly as they found them. What they made into a perfectly believable clothing and nick nack store was no more.
Tocky on 1/2/2016 at 00:00 Matter of fact, all of the words and props had to be recreated. As I said before, production puts everything back exactly as before. Our guide bemoaned that had she realized the draw of the show she could have raided the dumpster for original props. A moment of head shaking was had then on with the fun.
And that's about it. Most enjoyable for a four day getaway. I hope you enjoyed it. I would like to write travel books from a brain addled working mans perspective when I win the lottery.
