I agree with shadowlurker, the trickster is probably, a more oldskool god <img src="smile.gif" border="0"> . If you listen to his chanting in The Maw of Chaos, he talks about things returning to the way they used to be. Garrett obviously believes in the Woodsie Lord, because hes seen him with his own eyes... and i think seeing things is important to garrett. I doubt he does, or ever will believe in the Buildr unless he meets him like he met the Woodsie Lord.
Garrett's behavior/feelings towards luck are rather contradictory, he talks of how his luck has turned (or so it appears) for the better, and he visits the watchman's grave. but in thief2 in one of the movies he says something along the lines of, " Now would be a good time to wish for luck, if only i bleieved in it.
Edit: not that any of you care....but im in Celestial Tempest now, not the Keepers( though i do miss them)

Probably trying to maintain his tough, cynical image.

A little late to the party - but I was wondering ... where does one find the coins to leave at the Watchman's grave?

Holy taffin' necromancy!
Whew!
Sorry, okay...they should be in your inventory. Just scroll through.
Ethne on 6/9/2009 at 18:17
But they aren't...
Sorry about the necromancy - but around here it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. I didn't want to get chastised for starting a new thread.
Besides, it's the first time I have been able to play Thief Gold in years due to hardware /software incapability issues.
Thanks anyway.

I think you only have to do that if you're playing on one of the harder difficulty levels.

You won't get chastised for starting a new thread, you'll get chastised if you didn't search for an answer first. That's the trick. No big deal, and it's not really chastisement.;)
If they aren't in your inventory, you won't be able to leave coins, and you certainly won't find coins in the mission to do so.:)
