Oh wow. Warning to all indecisive clickers, so it seems that preordering TW2 -while a commitment (or maybe not? I don't get it) as described in the FAQ- is just one single click away. Just log into GOG, click "Pre-order" and bam, you would expect a checkout or confirmation screen. YOU WOULD BE WRONG.
There is a The Witcher 2 preorder bonus pack immediately available though. No idea what's inside. Downloading as we speak.
EDIT: photos of the team, IM avatars, wallpapers and four 'epic' bonus tracks. Nothing really worth downloading.

Photos of the team? LOOK MA, NERDS. Worst pre-order bonus I have heard of.

People love their Steam stats way too much.
Pretty judgemental from the guy who said he loves steam achievements so that he can see how much more committed to games he is than the majority of other people.
Yeah people who love steam love it. I love steam, and given the choice I will get a title on GoG. Enjoying a platform doesn't mean using it exclusively, I know the anti steam people think we're all fanatical nuts. I think it most cases it's hardly so.

What I love is when I say there's nothing wrong with a game being on Steam and some dickbag thinks that means I'm advocating every game be a Steam exclusive. Fuck no, humphat. That's not what I said at all.

Could someone please clear this up for me? After some googling, I can't find a straight answer to the following question:-
Will the boxed retail release have DRM or not?
Thanks in advance.
mothra on 3/2/2011 at 12:56
that is not know atm. 1C/Atari/Namco Bandai are the 3 publishers for the retail versions and none of them have issued a statement atm. The devs already said that they are still in negotiations and hope for a very light DRM or none at all. Check this thread for up 2 date infos:

I asked already for updated info as well but no official statement has been issued as of yet. The only 100% no-DRM option is the digital premium from GOG atm.
