youtube clip of another flash clip....how weird is that.....anyways, some nice cutscene involving geralt, triss, not many clothes and a snooping guard:

I demand equal rights for both sexes and want geralt's pants removed.
I find it akward that only Triss is completely undressed.

while I still dont like the quickslot/slowmo change system in TW2 the combat presentation as shown in the press conference (apart from the incredibly good news from gog.com about their new games and TW1 offer) is really impressive. my hypemeter is over 9000

Note: The release version of the game will have an advanced graphical settings menu. It will also
support the 16:9 aspect ratio and be playable in 16:10 (non-native) as well as 4:3 (letterbox).
Looks like the game is a shitty console port without a console version actually announced :weird:

they said they will fix 16:10 later, they just don't have the resources for that atm.
I got a 16:9 HD Monitor so I'm good. As far as I understand it that means black bars if you wanna keep
your native resolution or using the Monitor's built in scaling. I am glad we get a proper video settings
menue and a real save function, not what the reporters claimed after playing a preview build.
But not having that out of the box (since they made their own engine) is rather odd for a PC centric
developer. Is that a thing you can even forget to implement ?
There must have been discussions about that like the default FOV they will use and
how scenes are arranged to take the different FOVs in account.

The Witcher 2 Dev Diary part 5: (

It is strange to hear that Geralt will be able to fight using a hammer, an axe etc.
Oh, and I am still using 4:3 monitor.

well, cdpr can't let go of the sexcards, Triss is not only being featured in the polish playboy (as a digital playmate), the russian distributor 1C softclub is also doing a photoshoot with an armored geralt and a fully naked triss-lookalike. any doubts that they don't have a bad taste and sexist approach when it comes to the depiction of women - no matter how well-written her character will appear in the game - are now shattered. what a shame, mature still equals juvenlie sex fantasies in their minds. or at least they do not object to such marketing stunts of their partners.

Conspiracy theory: it was a multiplatform development all along. :ebil:
