L O L -> RTFM
- put trap in pocket in inventory
- select trap via radial menue (right side)
- push R to place trap
Cedric
- he is in lobinden, he has a crafting icon on the map and is usally either on the overseeing platforms or patrolling the villageoutskirts
When you first leave Flotsam for Lobinden Triss will accompany you to Cedric, you don't have to do anything, she will take you to him.

thanks Mothra, i´m still trying to set up the bindding keys at my taste and find out what some of them do, i´m reading the manual for the second time to review things i have forgot in the first time, i also got a game guide, so i´d better put good use to it, adapting myself to the gameplay of this game is not being easy, but i´m sure soon i will deal with the gameplay easly and the game will taste much better, one more question, is it really necessary for me to pick up herbs ? i find this rather boring considering that everytime i pick up a herb in the next moment the herb grows again in the same spot where i´ve picked before, i just want to fight and not give myself the trouble to do alchemy mixtures, the less interesting part of a rpg for me is having to sort out the items in the inventory, choose the skil the upgrade, make mixtures, in other words have to interact with all interface menus... i like to be on constant move.

Then this ain't the game for you. The Witcher is about homebrewing what amounts to meth and pipe bombs so can get hopped up and armed up enough to survive your next fight. It's a major part of the gameplay.
Though it could be a little easier to deal with, considering the loot system and menu is sorta clunky. It gets really sucky when you start reaching your weight limit. You have to troll through each and every category, trying to find unnecessary stuff to drop...then realize you're carrying 200 pounds of monster teeth and rope ladders.

I´ll get used to it, i also had to got used to Two world 2 constant items sorting and modification ...this why Gothic is still my favourite RPG game, you can carry as most items you want, sparing thus a lot of time sorting out the items you carry.

Oh just install the unlimited capacity mod like everyone else did.

Nah. That's the wiener puss way out. I'm gonna keep playing it the way GOG intended.
...well, I might go look at some mods that change the menu interface around a bit. See what they've got. But nothing gameplay changing.
