Damn, man. Don't you have a manual you can look at?
The white bar is your experience meter. When it gets to full, you level up. And when your wolf talisman makes a sound, use it, and you'll find a Place of Power, which you can use to get certain temporary stat boosts.
And CCCToad, it all depends on your tastes and other objective opinions. Personally, I preferred playing with the gamepad. The menus are a little harder to navigate (it'll take you a few to get used to it), but combat and exploration feels much more fluid and natural with an analog stick.
...though you will still do the occasional "olol watch me leap into the middle of a bunch of angry bad guys and get the shit kicked out of me" move no matter which control scheme you use.

Hmm. I don't know the keyboard command, and I don't have the game installed at the moment (I'm real anal about my gigahertz), so I can't check it out for you. Best I can tell you is to go into the keyboard remapper from the launcher, and see what it's assigned to there.
...or check out the manual. You know. Whichever.

The default key for using the medallion is "z".

thank you both, now i´m stuck with the harpy contract quest, i am suppose to destroy the harpy nests with fireflys bombs, but i don´t have recipes to create this bomb, and i can´t find any merchant that sells this recipe, perhaps i have forgotten to buy this recipe on chapter 1?

The trap you need to destroy harpy nests (and it's a trap, not a bomb), is readily available from vendors in that chapter. You won't be able to complete the harpy contract until you get another quest a little later on. Initially, only 6 will be available to you in the quarry. The other 6 are in the cave where harpies take dreams.

I have harpy traps, but my game guide mentions "firefly" bombs, but if i need first to complete other quests, then i´ll wait and see what happens while i´m progressing in the game.

The harpy traps are all you need. From what I know, the english version has a few translation inconsistencies regarding traps/bombs, you probably fell victim to one of those.

Nice. I think it's rather funny that the two settings I absolutely refused to turn off, SSAO and motion blur, were the two most expensive to use. With them off, and everything else set up medium, I bet I can keep the game running above 30 FPS at 1280x720 throughout.
Hell, I think that's just about enough to inspire me to give the game yet another go.
