At least two million copies have been sold world wide. An article was linked here on another thread, said a million copies was sold worldwide in two weeks after it was launched.
Sadly, it did neither. CDPR actually announced when it passed 1 million sales and IIRC it was around six months after release, and it has sold an estimated 1.6 million so far. Which is still very successful, even if a lot of sales were in low return markets.
Atari seems unlikely as a publisher as their European arm, the only successful bit of the company, is now their specialist MMO division while the dead weight which is their US arm handles all non MMO titles. There was also some supposed bad blood over the cutting of the English translation to cut Atari's VO costs. Deep Silver/ Koch or one of the other German publishers seems a possibility, though everyone knows CDP has financial troubles so they're probably gouging out as good (bad) a deal as possible from them.

Bottom line, The witcher have been very very successful.
Yes, that's certainly true, it's sold around as much as a fairly hyped title like Dead Space despite being a PC exclusive.

(It's funny if you see the Dragon Age commercial play before this... the comparison is staggering)
You don't have Adblock Plus installed?:weird:

Geralt's voice sound very similar to me.

What's still in: Nudity
What's out: Gerault's voice actor :(
That's what I thought but then I remembered that it's probably a placeholder until they get the old actors back into it.

geralt looks too good. like in : BORING.
where is the weathered look, the thinner head, the stingier eyes and the completely grey hair with a much more pronounced nose ?
he looks like an emo-Twilight witcher. Also: clothes ... the big fat metalchain collar looks like a turtleneck pullover; ... I was already looking for the missing golf club.....
dandelion and triss look much younger, all in all it looks more like: The Witcher: Class of 010 to me than a continuation of the same characters. I mean, after W1 and the fights Geralt had he should look even more "almost alive". other than that: most trailers for W1 sucked and this one does not change that much. too much ads, too much hyperbole, too quick cuts.
But all that bad advertising didn't stop theWitcher from becoming the awesome.
also: everbody spot the hidden message at the end of trailer ? nice touch imo.

and the
lead designer Blooddragon posted on the polish forum that he agrees that Geralt looks bad in the trailer. They aim for this look (which still looks like in the trailer imo) but at least they know now that they created a shitstorm with that change. the polish forum thread was 23pages in 20minutes :)
UPDATE2:quoting the master himself:
You say that Geralt's too young, his scarves are too shallow etc - we are going to fix that! Texture of his face needs being repaired and when done so, he's going to look much differently. We'll try to do sth with his eyes, too. However, structure of his face won't change - we won't come back to old innatural proportions because of technical (mimics!) matters. We are happy with his new face - the one which is visible on GameTrailers' banner.
About the hair: in trailer it has no physics, and no shader (which changes it's look very very much) and it comes from the times of first leak - we want to rebuild hair from zero. As I've written before, personally I'd prefer to offer possibility of choosing hairstyle.
In the movie Geralt has heavy armour - that's why he looks fat. In W2 character will have much more changeale elements of equipment and armour. There will be light armours (like those 3 from W1) and heavy one (like the one from trailer). Scabbards are not animated yet, thats why swords and scabbards come into each other. It's gonna be fixed. There is also curved sword, maybe it'll be shown on Thursday.(
