So in effect, EA has handed the reins of Mythic over to BioWare, blurring the lines between the two entities by organizing them under one group. It's sad to see Mark Jacobs go, as he was a major contributor to the success of Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, but it should be very interesting to see what direction WAR travels in now that Dr. Ray is at the helm.

So, uh...bioware's about to come out with an MMO, so EA merges them with a company who's created several not exactly hit MMOs?

Oh man I hope Mass Effect 2 doesn't get completely fucked up concerning everything in it from story to gameplay.
And yeah... what the fuck? Is it a trend now to unite companies? I think I'll follow dethtoll's idea and just go the fuck to bed.

They also made Jade Empire and MDK2. And Neverwinter Nights? Maybe.
They're alright in my book anyway.
Mythic I've never heard of. Guess they make MMOs.

Weird how Mythic is quite well known when the only things of note they have produced (and by "of note" I mean talked about/high profile stuff) are Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer: Age of Reckoning.
