This is a special Thieves only celebration.
Happy birthday my friend. You've been a stable voice both here and at Eidos.

Haha! The "Feiht" of The City rests with ye, Mister! Troubador Taffer!
BTW, I found the final books of the adventures of Fafhrd & the Gray Mouser, so I've devoured the whole series, now. Thanks!

Thanks to all. As an old curmudgeon, I do kick up a little, and I greatly appreciate your wishes.
Jtr7 Good for you. Now I'll stop looking. They are a little difficult to find as they get snapped up almost before they get to the shelves.
Do a Member search for Fafhrd. He is also a fan.

Yeah, I see Fafhrd around, I remember Gray Mouser, too. As I continue to do research for the Encyclopaedia project, I see a lot of old friends (and enemies, bless 'em) in the archived Vault. Nowadays I recognize so many nicks based on characters from all of these stories I've read, recommended for me by fellow TTLG'ers.
My biggest one-time purchase at a used bookstore was when somebody offloaded a bunch of Fritz Leiber, and I was there to see them, and had the money to grab 'em up. Whew! I haven't seen anymore in that store since. Providence.
Ah. I forgot to mention, but when I read Leiber's Gather, Darkness, and I saw there was a character called "the Black Man", I thought that's where you might have gotten the nick, until you explained the story behind your name. :D
