:tsktsk: Oh dearie me....in there too!
No problem with bars...worked/lucked out on my own but since I had to go in that bldg. first (that was quite a workout)...threw the switch without really knowing what it did, LOL, then realized when I got there what it was used for.
Thanks, paddywag, yea this is me Fire Eater :). Now to dodge/KO Mechs..not gonna be easy..for sure! (and by the way...I think you did make this one tougher as a whole...right from the gitgo..had to use my one precious noisemaker, which for some reason I wasn't able to recover...it disappeared even though I was able to look not long after the encounters, I only went far enough in tunnel so I could get into position to BJ both. Geez! Then the manner in which I was forced to get access to room for quest item. Couldn't pick door and nobody had key till somehow/somewhere I all of a sudden had it..but that was after I'd already left back out the same way I got in? I checked my inven...and I didn't have it then to leave by door??? :joke: No idea how I ended up with it...oh well, it was definately a different experience around this time. Ciao

Hey, thank you, jmmisenka! :thumb:
Fire Eater,
The key was on Sergeant BrittleBack's Belt in the Watch office. The apartment is also accessible through the Balcony using a rope arrow.
...My remaining objectives: Steal the Bane, permanently make sure Bouran can't use the Bane, return to the inn. What do I do next?
TheImmortalThief, thanks!
I'll add one comment now that I've found it:
The storage room you're looking for is NOT the one next to the kitchen in the keep. Instead, go to the central room of the library and find a door leading to a staircase going downstairs and look for a storage room off that.Nice level - I finished with
1/4 secrets so hopefully someone can post secrets someday.
(Courtesy of The Fire Eater, now
2/4 secrets - thanks - and apparently
the bookcase in the bookstore doesn't count.)

Never had that happpen before (not knowing I made a pick). That's the way and only way I could get in the way I did. :D Don't think it would have been possible if not BJ'd everyone first though....had to use slanted siderail on staircase in order to reach rope...eeyah! Now to pickup where I left off earlier this A.M. Church time! Thank you again for help!
prjames, secrets...
Can't help with all but one is in Grocer's upstairs, not sure but I think another was in Weapons downstairs, banner. That's it for now, can't remember for sure if Antique's bookcase counted but I think so.
Hope that helps some. ;)

Beautiful "re-do" of A Keeper's Betrayal, :thumb: but I really can't find
a way into Griff's Bookstore - haven't found any 'room in the sewers', with or without a key, & can't bash Griff's door in.
Any hints, please?

Find myself in big trouble inside sarcophagus area. :(
I did manage to get to where I came out of portal but find myself very high up and no good way to get down...i.e. no slow fall potion (did I miss it somewhere?). Also where is this guardian head/skull that I'm supposed to use? Did I miss taking a head from guards bunker room (neither one seemed to hightlight when I was near to open chest?) I have a HS that will put me back to start of swimhole if necessary for whatever I need to go back for in case. I also tried to see if I could use rope arrows to get down from ledge but although arrow stuck, no rope showed up.
That also alerted treebeasts...they are nasty! I figured I might as well check out fire arrows (2) don't know how ones on top of pillers are supposed to be had...but mine didn't seem to make any difference anyway as I used my two on one to no avail. Tossed down my one and only mine but couldn't tell where it landed, neither one got near it before they went back to their positions...so I made a seperate HS before doing those things to recoup my weapons in case somehow I would be able to go forward with some advice from you.
I do have moss arrows but fall will certainly damage me and I had to eat all my veggies to regain some health I lost in swim (had to use both potions in the process) but still have my two life potions. I assume the ability to open door with Guardian skull/head will get you out of that area into somewhere to find Bane and a way back to town? Perhaps that door in that small alcove I found opens from the other side somehow. I'd like to know how all those dynamite barrels around town, etc. were supposed to be used? Do they somehow go into your inventory when you pick one up...is that how Dia was able to destroy beasties? Even though they highlighted, I don't believe I've ever come across a situation when you could actually have inside your inventory...pickup only to put down again right away?
I know this was a long dissertation..but hope you will read it all and try to advise all concerns here. :) I have a feeling I'm going to have to go back out and endup having to do swim again...you think? :D
Could it be that I didn't come out where I was supposed to..as I see a hole up in the wall to my left looking out from my ledge? At least it looks like it could be an easier drop down since one of those magic stonehead thingies are underneath and the second drop would be in shadow looks like from here. I dunno, just wondering?
Thank you very much anyway.
Really like the way you did cave walls though..and all your other new textures. :) :thumb:
