You'll need to get really close to the skull for it to hilight. You basically will have to go into the pit and crouch next to it. ;)
Just in case:
You can sneak around the beast and drop down in front of the door from behind the sentinel. Or you can just toss the skull in front of the door from where you pick it up and run through the door when it opens.
Immortal :)
Edit: Sticky Fingers, I like the way you managed that! It's possible on all difficulty levels! :thumb:

I.T., I was just about on top of it...about half in as I felt myself lower a bit..trying to get at it? That should have worked much easier.
How in the heck was he able to use rope arrows to get fire arrows? Do they work on pillers somehow then? Immortal, you didn't even seem to know they would work that way since you didn't offer that method when we were discussing the issue of how to get them other than jumping, etc. OH wellll. Thank you for all your assistance...really appreciated! :)
theImmortalThief on 23/8/2007 at 08:07
To be honest, I didn't know that rope arrows would work any where there. (I wasn't intending on that being possible ;) )
I had to decrease the frob distance for the skull because otherwise it could have been frobed and taken without having to slide the coffin aside!
Did you finish the mission? I hope getting stuck didn't spoil the fun for you.

The Fire Eater : actually discovered it by accident -
one of the broadheads I (otherwise known as "he", we all have names!) shot hit a pillar with a nice woody "thunk" -- 'aha', I thought...
The Fire Eater on 23/8/2007 at 08:16
Actually StickyF. that was kindof a petty remark you made. First, I wasn't actually addressing you per se...secondly, it's not always necessary to use names in a post...it just depends. As you can see, I've been a member for a VERY long time and this topic has never been raised before...so just pass it off and don't be so sensitive...O.K. ;) Ta and Good Hunting!
Sticky Fingers on 23/8/2007 at 08:30
Who's being sensitive?
"First", you were referring to me, as I was the only one who'd mentioned the pillars.
"Second", using names in a post is simple politeness. And practically everybody does so.

Immortal sneaks into the thread and hides in a shadow. Creeping toward the sound of voices he rounds a corner and sees two of his fellow taffers arguing.
"We are all comrades in arms!" Immortal thinks to himself. "We shouldn't be battling amongst ourselves!"
With this thought, Immortal draws out his bow and notches a Gas Arrow and aims at a point on the floor between the two taffers and lets his arrow fly...
Minutes later, Sticky Fingers and the Fire Eater regain consciousness and find themselves seated at a table in a bright room, surrounded by a group of taffers smiling and laughing. Immortal comes forward with a bottle and shouts:
"Drinks all around!!! Let us forget our troubling past posts and rejoice in our friendship and lovely community!"
:D

Very nicely put TheImmortalThief, :laff: & I absolutely agree with the sentiment. I come to this Forum for information, ideas & fun; definitely not to argue.
I only responded because it felt like I'd been dumped on for no reason (maybe that's how some citizens feel after Garret's been through...)

StickyFingers:
Whoops - no fourth secret for me. I had found the antique dealer secret as my 3rd secret.
