afraid of getting spoiled, I'll post my problem:
I have Malvyne's key, but have yet to find where to use it, what Keeper Troy left at the docks, a way into the books & scrolls shop, or a way into the sewers.
hints, please? or am I just not trying hard enough?

I think some of your questions were answered earlier...or at least some good hints...however, to try and help a bit...you won't use Malvyne's key till much later and with another key to yet be discovered. Be sure to visit/explore as usual for goodies/secrets. :) If you played original version..some areas will have a familiarity to help a bit, but at the same time, many new changes/areas will encourage new exploration as theImmortalThief said in his readme. :) Have you visited Weapons shop yet...and a secret that makes a rope arrow useful??? How about those other bldgs. in that neighborhood? Did you visit Antique dealer's bldg...necessary before Dock entry. Good Luck! :thumb:

I had gone through the sewers too quickly, and missed the required book; now I've finished the mission (4/4 secrets, 200 short on loot). At the end I just ran around the guardians, so both were let to help me out later on.
quite fun! it's been a while since we've had a mission with a storyline or a city as complex as this :) thanks to theImmortalThief!

Thanks! That made my day! :thumb:
Bane II - Cult of the Damned is going on nicely. I hope up it will live up to the first mission's standards in complexity and storyline and surpass it architecture and nonlinearity!
Immortal :)

Just finished. There were enough changes from Keeper's Betrayal that the city was only eerily familiar for the first 30 minutes or so until I realized why. :o There were good clues throughout the mission to direct me to the right places & to find the secrets without being too easy.
I really liked
the choice between sneaking around the tree beasts or killing them - I'm a sneaker. Also, the water maze was great.
Thanks for your time & effort!

Thanks pavlovscat! :D
Your kind words make me want to quickly run and open DromEd and busy myself at getting my next mission released as soon as possible!

How do I get in the library ?? I saw someone ask earlier but they figured it out themselves and never posted how they got in. Thanks
look around the sewers for a key
Just a question: is it possible to destroy the "talisman" object after getting it? I am just wondering, because in the "Goals"-list there is another goal to arrange it, that nobody will ever have the chance to lay hands on it, not only the betraying keeper. Does anyone know how to solve this goal?
The Fire Eater on 4/9/2007 at 21:39
actually not as such...just get it when the time comes and situation will progress to it's final conclusion. :)
Just be sure to get shadowed as soon as retrieved...allowing for at least one beast alive that is.
:D Good Luck!
