everything oshii touches or is in talks to touch suddenly gets a gravitas of awesomeness and importance. but it won't make me play the game, just scout the internet for screenshots and info. His last anime, The SkyCrawlers, was certainly a more "commercial" but still high quality picture I enjoyed very much. Oshii treates anime like film and film like anime (e.g. Avalon), there are not many directors (maybe Satoshi Kon) that have that ability. But that's off-topic. NEW HALO GAME. ok, wrong thread for me.
