for what i understand and learned about the English.. the ''A'' is pronounced as ''E'' in the italian speaking.
And so the result is THIEF, just good.
So where is the wrong ? Only the wrote word ?

Yeah but its still a slightly stressed attempt to integrate the number 4 into the word Thief. A normal Thief 4 (With a small 4 would have been absolutely sufficient.)
I think thats not thew final logo, they just wanted to confuse the fans ab bit by making the sticker-covered announcement less obvious.

We pronounce "zif", sterlino, if you add an A, the result would be "zief", I guess...
