There's undoubtedly Unreal code in there, but most of what I've read indicates they scrapped enough that calling it the Unreal engine is deceptive.
It uses the Unreal Editor interface, but the engine itself is no longer unreal tech...hence why nobody can use unreal script. The pup was neutered.
