I can't make the darn thing work with XP Pro SP3 !
No matter which compatibility mode I try, it loads into Taskmanager for a nano second and then unloads itself (never gets as far as loading to the screen).
Is it not XP Pro compatible ??

Link to the editor, please? I am using SP3 as well, maybe we can do some debugging on it ;-)

I don't remember the save game editor working at all for most taffers anyway, but I'm the wrong person to try to help at all with this.

Sorry I missed your request for the link, I thought the thread was dead and didn't check back after 3 days with no replies.
Does what you said mean that it won't run on XP Pro ?
Are you able to 'fix' it ????
I can't imagine playing without 3/4 of a million flashbombs :-)

You'd be better off using DromEd.

It WAS quicker to use the SG Editor than Dromed.
With the SGE you can ALT TAB out of Thief and run it. With Dromed, you have to close Thief down and load it - and the loooong load times for big missions, and the TGA bug trap - it takes long time. Plus, you need to know what you are doing in Dromed, which rules me out.

And yet you have much more power with a short list of instructions that you don't have to struggle to learn to do what you want and more. It's harder to install DromEd than do some of these things.

atom0s and I are working on DarkHook. His code is the skeleton the hook is based on, I am just collecting and analyzing useful functions from DromEd to be applied to the naked game (v1.18) - it will be extended thereafter to the other titles as well (just the Looking Glass family, not Thief 3, since its engine is UT-based)..
Here's a little intro :-)

OMG !!! You are making one of those little programs that sits in the background ?? And it allows you to use FLY MODE with a single button push ??!!!!!
Awesome !!!
What other features will you include ??
Invisible mode ?? No Physics mode ? Infinite ammo and objects ?? Infinite health ?? Make objects bright mode (so you can see those little hidden levers more easily) ??
