@Sticky Fingers:
Form of yoga? :laff:
No, this is what happens when AI are in a non-moving form.... They look like this in dromed. The fact that it looks like that in game is rather odd. There's something you forgot to do, otherwise it could be that issue with thief gold vs. TDP. I still need to go play this one myself....

I gave up on the patch because installing it crashed my TDP install.
Anyway, I switched over to Gold & didn't have a single problem. This is the type of mission I like with lots of climbing around. I loved it! Thanks!

After about 20 minutes its all fixed now.
Prowler of the Dark now supports:
Mage Tables
Sand Bags
Decks of Cards
BigCoins
and an AI that moves about.
All this using TDP
The AI still has his appearance, voice ,patrol settings and timings. Turns out he was a male opera guest.
Now about the objects, they were in fact added to the zip but T1 dark.gam is not TG dark.gam
edit:
I called it v1.2 and put that in the readme. Ive also told Melan about the fix.

Okay, just beat it for the first time through on Normal. Nice little FM. While there may be a tad bit of problems, it was a good mission. And if it is the truth that it is your first FM Melan, well done.:thumb: Great job with the climbing aspect, was pretty cool. One thing that bother me was that of "realism" but that is just me being picky. I have a hard time picturing a thief jumping from one ledge to another that has red slippery roofing... How does he manage to hold on to the roof?:o But that's not really your doing, but Dark's.... Garrett, you're amazing.:p
Here's a screenie for anyone interested:

Wow, nice work with the floor trick in the church... I was stupid and walked in there thinking it would be easy and got caught. (I reloaded and tried to be more careful... but it was not to be. I ended up just killing the damn haunt and stealing the skull:cheeky:

Thanks a lot, Vlad Midnight! I will update the first post accordingly. :thumb: And my apologies to everyone for the problems; the TDP-TG difference really threw me. :nono:
sNeaksieGarrett: actually, I also built (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=118713) Bad Debts and (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122952) Unbidden Guest, this was just my first Thief1 mission. WRT the red rooftops, they have always been climbable (first encountered in Ramirez's mansion); I suppose because they are not as smooth as the other types.
[edit]Also, pavlovscat, the screenshots on The Circle look particularly horrid. Did you crank the gamma way up there, or did it look like that on your screen?

Maybe one installation has ddfix (tg) and the other doesnt (tdp)?
sNeaksieGarrett on 8/1/2009 at 16:10
Woops, I was under the impression that it was your first mission ever. Sorry about that. (not played those two, and didn't know unbidden guest was yours.)
Wel then, nice job for a first FM for thief 1 then.:p

Sorry, I've made them a bit better. In addition to feeling very poorly yesterday, I had a weird pc glitch that borked about half of my installed programs, so I've been trying to get everything back in order. I went back to the .pcx files & used IrfanView, so they look better. I was trying to get ddfix to work last night with no luck. After 13 hrs of sleep, I'm back at it and remembering RTFM!! So, this time I'm actually looking at the help thread. I still feel like cat crap that needs burying, :eww: but I should get everything going today.
The screenies have all been redone with ddfix, and they look much better!! I hope these meet with your approval, Melan! ;) :thumb:
