Hello, i'd like to have some recommendations for city missions with that wonderful mix of heavy exploration and sinister Thief 1 atmosphere.
Already played Skacky's missions and other wonderful ones like Bad Debts, Disorientation and Unbidden Guest.
Many thanks for any help.

If you haven't played "Saints and Thieves", I highly recommend it.

It is Thief 2 but to me it has a Thiefy sinisister atmosphere.

Sperry's "Shadow of a Doubt" campaign for Thief Gold.
I presume you've played Purah's missions? I'd say they harken T1 more than T2.

Ok, thanks, i'll check them out.
As for Purah missions i tried them but don't grabbed me as the ones i listed before.

Trial by Night is very good (although it has a very hard loot goal), and it was one of my models for Bad Debts.
Shadows of Doubt, definitely (only the first mission is set in a city).
Lorgan's Web is a remake of Assassins with a lot of places open for breaking in, a new story and some neat technical innovations.
Augustine's Revenge is highly abstract and mostly gameplay-centric, so it is an acquired taste, but I enjoyed it (and other missions by bbb).
Events in Highrock, Hush Hush, Sweet Harlot and Lord Binclair are all Thief 1 classics with decent to excellent city segments.

That doesn't answer the question whether the missions are actually good. ;)
But it reminds me: Geller's Pride is very good. It is half city, half mansion, and a very good, multiple-route take on Lord Bafford's Manor.

Thanks for all the above suggestions, i tried almost all of them but there's something missing. Don't know how to exactly explain it, it's like Melan and Skacky's missions created a sub-genre in the city exploration maps: the dark and oppressive atmosphere, the huge and tall buildings, the acrobatics at vertigo heights and the extreme verticality..........
Maybe it would be easier to replay these missions than to find new ones. :cheeky:

Skacky's missions are unique, nobody else has ever produced such monstrously towering city missions :D

Very true! But it seemed like a good opportunity to bring the thread to piesel's attention. :)
