TDP better then TMA??? You're off your rocker, right?

- Undead, burricks, craymen, and other non human creatures
- Haunted places, lost cities, ancient crypts
- Mage Towers:D
- Overall darker and more medieval style, including fashion and architecture (T2 is way too Victorian for my taste)
- Garrett runs faster
Thief 2 has better graphics, and I do enjoy it, but I still prefer Thief 1, and I don't fancy the Mechanist theme and technologies of Thief2. There's not enough dark elements and fantasy in T2: I can't believe people actually complained about Thief 1 for having too many non-human elements - that's what I enjoyed the most about it. I like sneaking around mansions, but I like even more exploring lost cities and underground tombs. It's a close race between T2 and 1 in my book, but T1 wins out

jtr7, kamyk, and Azaran, you're all spot on! Yes, yes, and a thousand times yes! :thumb: I feel like I'm in the minority, but I love the dark gritty creepiness of TDP and all those strange creatures. If only it had the graphics of TMA or if there were an even more updated version, with graphics comparable to those in the Dark Mod, something similar to the way they're remaking the original Half-Life.

the plot twist of Garrett losing his eye was awesome.
The plot twist of Karras destroying the city was given.

One more from me.
The main antagonist of TDP/TG didn't sound like Elmer Fudd talking through a wadded up wet towel.

The UK accent the guards have.
Yeah, I love that. It always make me laugh the way they use phrases I use myself.. :cheeky:

*Mythological feeling - more Hammers and Inhuman Creatures
*Cannon feels more complicated and intriguing
*Levels have various portions: You start in a water pool, go through a mine and a factory to reach some nicely furnished offices (Cragscleft)
*Ambient sounds are magnificent
I must note that FM makers make great T2 levels that compete with T1 OMs very nicely:thumb:
