yeah, but he said he deactivated enbseries and it became fullscreen again.
Unless you are leaving out the fact that you disabled ddfix as well, Fallen.

Well at the moment mines working perfectly, except for the minor lag that is, not a biggy ;). I'm just saying that there's nothing fishy about the enbseries minipack that KoHaN69 made, however 1.1.1 uses a different ini script, which I manage to download from Timeslip's website to compare on his minipack, I found out that the ini file not identical to the later versions of DDFix (except the resolution script). So therefore the file that came with KoHaN69's patch will not function completely for fullscreen because the scripts are missing or do not match. If you guys want me to upload the revised patch, I will do so. For now I will keep quiet and hopefully this isn't really off-topic ×.×

I'm not sure I follow you, but yes the scripts in the ini are different. Timeslip changed them over time.

Hell, you could be right. Maybe I did. Anyway, if the diagnosis proves to be right, what should I do? I can't find 1.1.1 on their website.

Follow these steps:
1.) Go to timeslip's (
website) http://timeslip.chorrol.com/ddfix.html and download DDFix version 1.1.1 if you do not have the GUI version for 1.1.1 (Skip to step 3 if you have ddfix already patched with enbseries installed.)
2) Extract DDFix 1.1.1 files to your Thief folder.
3) Then extract the ini from ddfix1.1.1 zip file to your Thief folder, open up the ini file with notepad.
4) edit the scripts such as resolution and fullscreen options etc.
5) After you are done doing that, boot up DDfixGUI.exe
6) If thief2.exe has already been patched, you will need to remove that patch and then install the patch that will use the ddfix.ini file that you have edited.
7) exit ddfix and then play Thief, you should end up with a fullscreen main menu by now :)
note: make sure you have installed the latest GUI version than 1.1.1 before you continue to step 5

If you're looking for the GUI version for 1.1.1, you won't find it there since Timeslip removed it. :(

Thanks for your help, but now it's even worst. Now it's not working anymore
Sadly I have no time for tinkering, will wait until something more stable and tested is around.
Thanks again for the effort.

(
http://rapidshare.com/files/158511093/ddfix1.1.1.zip.html) Here is ddfix 1.1.1.;)
You need to tell us exactly what you did to make enbseries work. Dexter, you are making it more complicated than it needs to be.... Just download my copy of ddfixGUI and that should help. First off, you will want to make sure your thief2.exe is back to it's original unpatched state. Then you want to apply ddfix 1.1.1. Then, with the enbseries stuff being in your root thief folder, open enbseries.ini and enable it as I have said before in this thread. Good luck. :)

Sorry -.-
sNeaksieGarrett on 29/10/2008 at 04:32
No worries.:)
Btw:
I would suggest a "how to" thread, or an amendment to this thread with some sort of step by step guide for people. It always helps to have a nice first post with easy accessible information.:)
Mid-post epiphany:
D'oh, I just realized we've been posting a whole bunch of stuff that should be in the sister thread that Digi linked to in the first post of this thread.:erg: So what I just said above could go in the sister thread. I think the point of this post was to share it with people who might otherwise miss it in the legacy help section, correct me if i'm wrong Mr. Nightfall.:)
Also, any questions about ddfix can be asnwered (
