WSM v6r2 is NOT able to patch Dromed exe v1.32 for Thief: The Dark Project (dromed.exe file size: 7 626 708 bytes). File is unaltered after running WSM. Could anyone having contact with weak-ling forward this issue to mod author, please?

sorry for bumping it but found another issue:
WSM v6r2 also doesn't recognize and is NOT able to patch T2 demo .exe (name: thf2demo.exe, file size: 2 479 616 bytes). Too bad, as many people like this version of the mission.
Didn't try any of TDP/TG demos but they are unsupported (exes not recognized by WSM) as well, most likely.
does anyone know if weak-ling still visits this forum so he can have a chance to read it, or can anyone get in touch with him etc? It'd be nice to have these issues fixed so the mod is more complete etc.

Me too. I discovered this while cleaning out an infestation which had disabled Symantec.
I have no way of knowing for certain, but I run a VERY tight machine and NEVER have virus issues...until this. The only stuff I download which is not OEM is home-grown thief mods. I'm concerned that the weidu.exe file that I downloaded was infected, not necessarily by the author, but the mirror might have been hacked?
Thoughts anyone? Symantec and Spybot didn't seem to mind it, so maybe it was just a macafee glitch...

I would say this is a false positive, just ad it to the exception list.

DarkWidescreen version 6 release 3 is out. This release includes support for additional executable versions only but does not add any new features. If you already have the first or second release of version 6 installed then you should not update to this new release.
