I hope so, that would be most welcome! I also hope for a sky rotation issue fix at the same time, but I suspect it's a more difficult issue, or perhaps they are both difficult

Whoa, the latest version fixed both issues!!! It's working wonderfully for me, no sky rotation junk, no object pop-in! This is like a small miracle or something!

Hey, I link all the time without asking any permissions. The beauty of the intarwebs, and all that.

According to the supplied documentation, the new dark engine widescreen mod (v.5) now supports:
- System Shock 2 (version 2.3)
- Thief DP (version 1.33)
- Thief Gold (version 1.37)
- Thief 2 (version 1.18)
- DromEd
However, I have had no such luck in getting the mod to run on Thief DP. Accordingly, when I run the batch file and input (any) desired resolution, I immediately recieve the error message "Value 13 found in executable thief.exe at 2178316, expected 320".
Has anybody had any luck with Thief DP (or even Thief DP Gold) and the new widescreen mod?

Update:
I just tested the mod on a clean install of my copy of Thief: DP Gold, and it worked seamlessly, adapting the game to my screen's native resolution of 1440 x 900.
I'm wondering why, however, it didn't work with Thief DP. Perhaps because I had installed texture, sound, and other mods for this version before attempting to run the widescreen mod?

As far as I know noone has ever reported it working with Thief non-gold hence the support is purely theoretical. So you installed the 1.33 patch? What is your thief.exe file size? Can you make the executable available to me?
Fallout_002 on 18/5/2008 at 23:27
Yes, my installation of Thief DP is definately v. 1.33. I had patched my old CD of Thief DP version 1.14 shortly before attempting to run the mod.
