Evening
My new gfx card turned up to day (3 days early) and Ive been mucking about the T2 1.19. once id set the single surround desktop res (5140*1050) and set that as my user_mode1 in the cam-ext.cfg Theif would use that res quite happily. But as you can see from the screenshot the Hud isnt being correctly positions and what you cant see is in-game the edges of the image are stretched,

I think those distortions are common/normal when using superwidescreen - which reminds me, dude, you should seriously use portrait modes when using three monitors.

It appears that the HUD is being "positions" perfectly. I don't see anything wrong with it.

They are, but they are normally correctable. And I hear yah, but I would need a special stand which I don't currently have and then conversly I wouldn't have the distortion to try and fix.
Anyway a very rough video of the first few minutes of Cryptic Realms

Agreeing with ZB here, what's wrong with the HUD? And I don't get how the image
couldn't be stretched out when you have it set up that way.

Regarding the HUD: 2 issue as I see it.
The health icons could di with being closer together and all way over to the left. And the far right hand icon/s should be all the way over to the right, but that one isnt as much of an issue as the stretched out health potions.

there is a HUD scaling option in the cfgs, but I don't think it will help in this case..

you mean three :p. I was seriously considering this at one point, but a full experience would require fullhd ips monitors with very thin bezels (less than 5mm would be the best), and no such monitors were available at that time (and I don't think anything has changed). seeing ss2 running in the 3240*1920 res was a total trip.

To be honest, I think it's quite silly to have 2 vertical black bars in the middle of the screen (the screens bezels).
The only interest of using 3 screens, would be to have a front view in the middle, and side views on the other 2 screens. The darkengine obviously doesn't handle this, all you can do is stretch the front view to match 3 screens, you have a wiiiiidescreen...
For the price of 3 screens and the gfx card for them, you can have a decent videoprojector which would do the same job even better. And no real need for space, a standard bedroom/office is big enough, you just need to be organised. :p

even with the bezels, it's awesome, trust me. as for the price, with a bit of luck, a decent graphics card + 3x ips fullhd monitors can be obtained for less than 1000e - well worth the punch, I say.
ips is an absolute must especially if you want to use the portrait mode, as you need to have good viewing angles.

Yeah, do do eventualy get used to the bezels and then dont see them any more. My only issue would be the trying to get used to working in windows inn portrait mode.
